Admission to a Shards of Orn event is $30. This amount is subject to change based on the cash flow needs of the game. If the price ever changes, this page will be updated and an announcement will be placed in the forums.
Note that admission is not generally charged for side activities such as play tests, fighter practices, guild meetings, and the like. When in doubt, check the specific event page for details.
To encourage more people to give the game a try, admission is free at your first event. You must still provide your own costuming, props, and supplies (for a more detailed list, see What to Bring). If you choose to pay for your first event anyway, you will receive 12 boon instead, which is double the normal reward for monetary contributions.
If you work for the game during the event, either as a plot member or full-time monster, your admission is free. Unlike with first-time players, you may bring your own costuming or have costuming provided for you out of the Dragon's Den. You must still provide your own food and other supplies, however, and you will not be permitted to play a PC during the event. Plot members and full-time monsters are awarded 20 boon per event for their hard work.
Until March 2012, players have the option to purchase admission to all 2012 regular season games (April through October, normally priced at $240) for a flat rate of $200. If you miss any of these events, a PC of your choice will be awarded experience points as if you had attended.
As a special bonus, if you buy a season pass before March 2012, you will receive boon depending on your month of purchase.
| Month of Purchase | Bonus Boon |
| December 2011 | 15 |
| January 2012 | 10 |
| February 2012 | 5 |
Living Action, Inc. does not offer refunds at this time. If you cannot attend a game for which you have prepaid, one of your PCs will still receive skill points as normal.
