January 2012 Playtest

Location: 8801 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27617 (William B. Umstead State Park, Crabtree Creek Entrance, Shelter #1) (Get Directions)

Join us for an informal fighter practice to test the new game system. We'll meet at Shelter #1 at the Crabtree Creek entrance at 1:00pm, walk through the new rules, run some skirmishes, and break for feedback and brainstorming around 4:30pm.

Feel free to bring your own boffer weapons or use one of the Dragon's Den weapons. Because this will be informal, garb is allowed but not required. Just be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.

As this will be a playtest, there is no cost and you will not be playing your PC or receive experience points. However, you will receive one boon per hour of participation, and you may get a better feel for how you want to rebuild your character in the new system.

Depending on the readiness of the new character generation engine by the time of the playtest, you may or may not be able to generate custom builds to try out. Stay tuned for more details on this in the coming weeks.
