The game is in need of class guides to help new players learn more about what different classes are good at, how they work, how to build them, and how to play them effectively. Each class guide must include the following sections:
- Why {Class Name}s are Great. Include the sort of party roles the class excels at filling, special strengths the class enjoys, the sort of play style the class supports, and other reasons people might want to play it.
- Special Game Mechanics. Most classes have straightforward healing or attack abilities. Go into details about special actions or effects that set the class apart (e.g., Refresh and Performance for bards, Deflect for warriors, Wild Form for druids, Pin for monks, Zeal for paladins, Burst attacks for savages, etc.). Explain how these work and why they are useful.
- Important Skills. List out the skills that are most important and/or useful for the class, starting with basics like Armed Combat, Armored Combat, Unarmed Combat, etc. Address what a new player should pick up first, then address things they should focus on as they advance in level.
- Useful Strategies. Give some handy tips for how to stay alive and excel at playing a member of the class. Talk about other classes that synergize well, useful ability combinations, sought-after treasure, etc.
This will be a multi-part bounty, one for each class in play. You must have played the class to at least fifth level in order to accept the bounty. Boon will be awarded to coincide with the quality of the finished work (at least 2 to 3 is expected for the amount of work involved). If you would like to take this bounty, please say so in the comments below.
