Boon Opportunity for Videography

Thinking ahead to next year's marketing push for the game, we're probably going to need video expertise. Anybody out there with video shooting/editing experience who wants to earn a bunch of boon?

Belive it or not I am pretty good with a cameracorder.. My dad could probabley edit the videos with music and other things..

I don't have access to the equipment anymore sadly, but I actually have a degree in Media Production, and was a studio enginner for a couple of years.  I'd gladly offer any technical assistance, but I can't provide any of the means to capture video at the moment.

You're definately going to want Ben (Catbus)  to handle that.  He is quite adept at capturing and edit footage.

I'll second Ben if you can get him to do it. I've seen his work.

Wow.  You guys should resurrect year-old threads like this more often.  I had completely forgotten about this one. :P

Alright, here's what I'd like to do.  Ben, Scott, Evan, Jonathan, if any of you have any videos that you've produced that I can take a look at, let me have a peek.  Then we can meet briefly at the game (beforehand or during a break) to discuss what sort of videos we might like, who will be responsible for shooting them, and who will be responsible for editing them.  I'm no videographer, but other folks on the marketing committee and I have been discussing ideas for quite awhile now.

Oh, and whoever actually owns a camcorder, feel free to bring it.  Then we can make shooting video a part of your monster duty.

The ideal LARP dish is an entree of combat, seasoned to taste with story, with a side of roleplaying, a mixed PvP drink (if that's your thing), a tall glass of immersion to wash it all down, and a moderate portion of treasure for dessert. Who's hungry?
