A piece of parchment blows lazily in front of the Shady Corners, then catches upon the town post as if affixed there by invisible hands. Words begin to appear on the parchment, bleeding onto the paper seemingly out of nowhere.
A riddle to the town of Jastrey: What happens when you put a necromancer in his grave?

See you soon,

P.S. Thank you, Stiers. I always knew you'd come around.
"Ah, excuse me. I haff much on my mind... I had almost fhorgotten. Perhaps you should... There are some things I must see to eventually..." Katri half muttered the end, nodding to Stiers. She would have to speak with him later, she knew. She couldn't afford for him to think her an enemy.
Garith approaches the note and begins to read. As he does he goes stock stiff and the color drains from his face. He turns to the others. "Quickly go and assemble town, Risik has returned and we must try to stop him before he gains to much power." With that he quickly heads off to the tower to try and find Astrum.
Katri looked at the stranger who clearly seemed to understand the note as well. If only he had heard what she had earlier, he would know exactly how right he was about the urgency. Stiers had said he was even stronger than before and the thought made Katri wince. She looked and Wyndfere, excused herself and rushed off in the opposite direction of the rest of town. Her face was carefully blank as she set her hood and mask in their place, not even her eyes visible any longer.
A few days later, Chataya walks up to read the note, a disturbed look on her face. She shudders, looking in the direction of the new grotesquely decorated tavern. "How can I protect my townspeople from this?" she mumbles quietly to herself. Visibly upset about the new tavern and the note, she whispers a plea to Istencia for guidance and walks quickly towards her new home in the Mage Tower, seeking the comfort of her friends' presence.
Katri approaches the town post and reads the note. "Vell," She sighed, "Thees saves us some trouble..."
