Awhile ago we had a poll in which the vast majority of players voted in favor of purely random gathering skills. Hence, I created the "Convert into Resources" function for Herbalism, Hunting, and Mining.
Given more recent feedback, however, the sentiment seems to be that hand-selecting harvested resources is preferable. Thus, I've removed the block in the program that prevents characters from selecting what they produce with these skills.
Note that the "Convert into Resources" function will remain there for anyone who actually wants to generate resources at random. For everyone else, just browse to the item you want in the Treasure Trove and click the "Make" link as normal.
