Specialty Action - newbie needs help! :)

I think I'm creating my first character appropriately, but perhaps I'm trying to do something out of order. I was attempting to add a Specialty Action skill and see an error message...

Please let me know if you need more information or if it's simply that I shouldn't be taking a Specialty Action!

In order to learn a specialty action, you must first have an action to specialize in. Specialty actions are automatically prepaired actions that allow you to go above and beyond the normal number of abilities you can use between refreshes as well as being able to prepare more than 3 of the ones you specialize in.

Actions are going to be in the lower area of your character sheet, and as you learn them, they will appear in that currently empty specialty action box.

Scott covered it all. Sorry the interface doesn't give you a nice message to that effect. Much of the older functionality like that could stand to be refactored.
