Age Restrictions
Boffer LARPing is a complex, full-contact sport. As such, there are age restrictions on those who can play at a Shards of Orn event.
- Children under 10 years of age cannot play. They are allowed at events free of charge, but must wear a white headband to denote that they are out of play and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Children from 10 to 15 years of age can play with the permission of a parent or guardian. They must pay the standard admission fee and be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Children from 16 to 17 years of age can play with the permission of a parent or guardian. They must pay the standard admission fee, but need not be supervised by an adult.
- Adults age 18 years or older can, of course, play at their own discretion. They must pay the standard admission fee.
Note to Parents: It's important to realize that the Shards of Orn is primarily a game for adults. If your child plays, he or she may be injured or exposed to objectionable game content. Most importantly, Living Action, Inc. does not offer child care services. The supervision of a child under the age of 16 falls to that child's caregiver in all situations.
