I've been brushing up on Drupal's caching API and making some tweaks to the custom modules that manage game content. If everything works like it's supposed to, you should start seeing a marked speed improvement around the site. If I've got my logic wrong, however, you may notice some things that don't appear to be updating correctly. If you notice anything like this, please let me know and I'll be sure to fix it.
