The game is in need of a volunteer to manage our social media profiles on Facebook and Twitter. The objective will be to keep these profiles up to date with pictures, videos, game announcements, and new developments, with a focus on reaching out to potential new players and driving them to OrnLARP.com. Bear in mind that these social media profiles will be strictly supplementary; the main site will still serve as the primary mode of communication for the game.
The ideal candidate for this will be a savvy social media user, preferably with experience managing large Facebook groups and a near-constant online presence. Boon will be determined using the existing referral framework; the volunteer will be allowed to include his or her personal referral links within status updates and generate boon by attracting new players. If you're interested in this position, please post a comment below with an explanation of why you'd be a good candidate.
Alright, so hypothetically I could do it. It doesn't seem like an espescially difficult Job. I'm pretty much always on a computer anyways. As far as experience goes, I kinda have a facebook and a twitter for a this film company Im part of. It gets updated whenever I have updates for it. Like I said I could totally do it... probably. I also may not be a great canidate because of course I'll write some silly status update about Uordeq Conspiracies... or maybe I'd be the perfect canidate.... Hm... Things to consider I suppose.
I'm interested in this position Thad. Aside from the fact that I got my degree in marketing, I'm always online and have been thinking of ways to promote Orn outside of this website anyway. We can start with Facebook and twitter, but I think other local resources would be good too. I've handled my own personal marketing with my music, and have managed Facebook events and pages before. I think fun little blurbs on twitter about all the ridiculous stuff these crazy people do and talk about, just to spread the fun. I'll talk with you more in detail about it when I'm not between shifts at work.
