- We're in Crabtree this event.
- Due to the number of RSVPs, we will start processing logistics Thursday night rather than Friday morning. If you have anything you'd like to do with your character, please be sure it is finished by Thursday afternoon.
- Weather should be clear and cool in the low 60's. The nights will probably be chilly, so be sure to pack extra layers and appropriate bedding.
- The October event is traditionally the one when we try our best to scare the living daylights out of everyone. Expect thrills and chills. If you ever get to the point of being truly uncomfortable, it is okay to step out of play and compose yourself. On that note, it might be a good idea to pack extra underwear. ;)
- We have a lot of RSVPs. It's unlikely but possible that we will run low on available beds. If you have them, it would be appreciated if you could bring air mattresses, sleeping bags, and the like in case we need to make additional room. If it becomes necessary, boon may be awarded to those willing to sleep on the floor.
- Counterintuitive though it may seem in light of a possible bed shortage, the lodge in the far unit is reserved for plot purposes. You'll find out why Friday night. ;)
- Bring a towel. No, this is not just a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Folks have been forgetting this all-important item and regretting it when they inevitably want to take a shower.
Also, for any of the new people who want to eat from the menu food, please make sure your name is on the list. You can find the menu and sign up in the Out of Play Forums: Announcements under OCTOBER FOOD. Cost is $20.00 for three meals on Saturday. All weekend coffee and tea is $1.00
This map of the park may be helpful. Also a lantern is a good thing to remember to bring, just for the few moments you will need light inside your cabin.
