Homunculus
Also known as changelings or mandragora, it is said that homunculi are created by applying an alchemical mixture of milk, mercury, and mandrake root to a fresh grave on the night of the full moon. The mixture combines with the earth and the corpse, transmuting death into artificial life. After several weeks, a homunculus emerges.
Physical Description
The most distinguishing feature of the homunculi is their blood, which is a poisonous mixture of alchemical reagents. Aside from that, they generally conform to the stature and build of the corpse used in their creation, although in some cases their features are distorted or deformed from the original.
Personality
An inescapable question to many homunculi is whether they are real or artificial. All homunculi address this in some way. Some do so by blending in with other races as much as possible, even to the point of replacing the person whose corpse was used in their creation. Others, on the other hand, flaunt their bizarre nature with impunity, and may even consider themselves superior.
Relations
Because of the nature of their creation, homunculi are often viewed with suspicion and distrust by other races. Some regard them as little more than undead abominations, even though they are fully alive. Because homunculi lack a homeland or racial organization, each homunculus must deal with these prejudices individually.
Costuming Requirements
Homunculus characters must draw green veins on all exposed skin.
