Rarely, a bone will become fossilized rather than wasting away, hardening from the consumptive energies of the Nether. A skilled leatherworker can mold this pale ivory into a weapon or fetish that allows its user to reap the dying energies of slain foes. Death Shades in particular are known for wielding weapons made of pale ivory, and their constant proximity to the substance makes harvesting it a dangerous prospect at best.
