Come one, Come all...
The war with Sardia has been devastating; and Jastrey and its citizens are recovering. A few moments of levity is just what is needed...
'Orn's Got Talent' has come to Jastrey. Bards fetch your fife, Warriors come share your tale of honor, Urodeq display your necromancy, Gnomes show off some newly devised system. Whatever your talent or skill, regardless of race, class or creed, come and spend five minutes showing all how wondrous you can be and see if you can take home 15 shiny gold coins.
Contestants of all races gather to display their skills, talents, one by one. A panel of three judges gives a score from one to ten, taking Considerations on several points. These scores, from all three judges are totaled and recorded. Top three places receive awards from an assortment of prizes. A time limit of five minutes will be imposed. First place chooses one award from all the prizes. Second place winner chooses next, from the awards left. The third place winner takes the remaining prize.
Three judges will write a score of one through ten on a sheet of paper, show the gathered crowd and record the total of all three judge's scores.
Judgement Considerations:
- Showmanship/Stage presence
- Originality/Creativity
- Appropriateness to Character Race/Class
- Audience Response/Entertainment Value
- Clarity/Well spoken
- Deduction for going over five minutes
Two guardsmen, one on either side of the stage area, will protect the audience from any mishaps that certain talents may cause.
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR'S ADDENDUM:

A stout gnome, dressed in fine but garishly colored clothing, steps to the center of the town's square. Reaching up, he straightens the equally garishly colored trilby upon his head and then settles his hands behind his back. Taking a deep breath, the gnome bellows out in a loud, clear, Rican-accented voice:
"Come one, Come all! This July, come show the Shards that war does not devastate the hearts and souls of those who dwell within The True Jastrey! Moments of levity are what life is about!
Bards fetch your fife! Warriors come share your tale of honor or duel! Urodeq display your necromancy or stealthy, stealthy ways! Whatever your talent or skill, regardless of race, class or creed, come and spend a couple of minutes showing all how wondrous you can be!"
Here the gnome pauses, taking a deep breath, a wide grin splitting his face as he finishes with "And see if you have the skill! The might! The very poetic fortitude to take home your share of 15 shiny gold coins!"
Then, pleased, he bows dramatically, waving a hand over his head, and vanishes into a puff of green and purple smoke.

Ladies and Gentlemen! So glad to see so many have gathered here today. You will be thanking yourselves soon enough, for right now, on this very stage, you will witness some of the greatest feats, outrageous spectacles and the most wondrous tales ever to grace this land we call Jastrey.
Fear not! As you can plainly see, we have provided a security force to guard your safety at all times throughout our show. We presented these contestants for your entertainment, bedazzlement and bemusement.
