Wail

Avenging

You trigger an Avenging ability immediately after being attacked. The attack must strike you, but you may Block, Counter, or declare Immunity normally. You deliver the effect by swinging a Weapon at the attacker. If you do not have the Proficiency to use the Weapon, it is Ruined, or the arm wielding it is Maimed, you cannot use the ability.

Fear

You may not attack or use abilities on others as long as you can see the user. Line of sight may only be broken by scenery, such as a building or large number of trees. The effect ends if you are hit.

Burst

A Burst ability includes the "Burst" prefix as part of the tagline and affects all characters close enough to hit or be hit by you in melee at the time it is called. The ability cannot be avoided or blocked, though countering and immunity apply normally. If the effect is detrimental, everyone in range takes the affect regardless if they are flagged for PvP or not. If the effect is beneficial, you may choose to affect yourself as well.
