You take Drain damage as if it were Crit ("Critical") damage. Critical damage cannot be Absorbed, Resisted, or Withstood and bypasses most defenses. If you are subdued by Critical damage, you are immediately slain. In addition, you may not have a Drain damage ability or use the Add Drain meta effect.
