Abilities 22 of Fortune Teller
Spell
You trigger a Spell ability by speaking an incantation. Incantations must be at least nine syllables in length, distinguishable from normal speech, and related to the nature of the effect. If you are hit while speaking the incantation, the ability is interrupted but not expended. If you are Muted, you cannot use the ability. Once the ability is triggered, you deliver the effect by throwing a packet at the intended target. If the effect is beneficial, you may also deliver the effect through touch or have it affect yourself.
Frenzy
You attack the closest valid target, even if that character is an ally, and continue to do so until subdued or Roused. A valid target is a target you are both aware of and can attack effectively. This is an exception to the rule that cooperative players may not be attacked by other players. Because you are compelled to attack the closest valid target, Soothe and Taunt will only alter your target if multiple characters are equally close to you.
Gaze
A Gaze ability includes the "Gaze" prefix as part of the tagline and affects a single character you point at when the ability is called. If the target is ambiguous or their attention is engaged elsewhere, the ability has no effect, though simply averting one's gaze is not a valid defense. The ability cannot be avoided or blocked, though countering and immunity apply normally.
