Abilities 27 of Fortune Teller
Spell
You trigger a Spell ability by speaking an incantation. Incantations must be at least nine syllables in length, distinguishable from normal speech, and related to the nature of the effect. If you are hit while speaking the incantation, the ability is interrupted but not expended. If you are Muted, you cannot use the ability. Once the ability is triggered, you deliver the effect by throwing a packet at the intended target. If the effect is beneficial, you may also deliver the effect through touch or have it affect yourself.
Fear
You may not attack orĀ use abilities on others as long as you can see the user. Line of sight may only be broken by scenery, such as a building or large number of trees. The effect ends if you are hit.
Gaze
A Gaze ability includes the "Gaze" prefix as part of the tagline and affects a single character you point at when the ability is called. If the target is ambiguous or their attention is engaged elsewhere, the ability has no effect, though simply averting one's gaze is not a valid defense. The ability cannot be avoided or blocked, though countering and immunity apply normally.
