Aegis and more Aegises

First of all let me start out by saying brother, thank you for your dedication and the fine job that you are doing for all of us. And the streses you are under with making things by out saturday deadline, and making the Non-profit orginaization and all. I thought I'd take a look at our newest addition to the system.

Lesser Aegis does not have an intencity. And Aegis has an intencity of a 2 lending 5 points of armor as a collaberative action at level 2. I guess my question is, why is Aegis as strong as Lesser Aegis is presumably going to be with an intencity of 2. And why is it a collaberative for the same level. I'd like to fix it if I knew how, in order to help facillitate the completion of deciples and mages by saturday.

Also I saw one of the actions had an intencity of 3. How can we do that when it only increases in incriments of 2? Are we going to put 7.5 armor actions into play or did I misread something? I did see some actions scale in a 3 intencity for 1 way as in the Empower Weapon action. Help me to understand a little more if you will.

No problem. It's always nice to be appreciated. I'll just be happy when the whole thing is up and running.

As I mentioned on the phone, some effects, like Guard, have a baseline effect without any intensity. Others, like Strike, require at least one point of intensity. When in doubt, check the effect description.

In this case, Lesser Aegis is the baseline, unintensified "Guard 5" effect, whereas Aegis is an intensified "Guard 10" version. They happen to become available at the same level because of how level is determined (i.e., the highest rating of any component that makes up the action). If you look closely, you'll see that Lesser Aegis is weaker, but obviously the better choice for low-level disciples.

If you saw an action with an intensity of three, it was probably a Strengthen effect. I'll take another look through them; if I made a mistake, it should be trivial to correct.
