A calamitus sound could be heard on the way to Jastrey. A crier reading a sheet of paper, yelling into a cone spoke above the barely recognizeable raucus sound of bells and horns.

"Make way for Al-Rassad the Magnificent. Master of the 14 winds, Son of the Heavens, Slayer and protector of the pure and evil alike....."

As the sound grew closer the source of it became visible to the town, an ixifari man with red plumage sat astride a massive desert beast dancing to the sound of his own arrival, surrounded by dancers, buglers, and his crier leading the way. On the back of the beast the man who appeared to be only dancing absent mindedly thought to himself how he was going to stiff the crier for the cost of this arrival, it was really getting hard to convince these people to accept late payment but he wouldnt dare arrive any other way.

messed up!  sorry!

Wyndfere looks in the direction of the parade, scoffs, and says to himself, "Another hero of Jastery, huh? This will be fun."

as soon as the cavalcade entered jastrey the strange man atop the beast hopped down, still slightly dancing. The crier approached him and said hushedly
"We are here your greatness, now just the matter of price. Since you insisted on the full entourage and the 4 stops for ice to keep your wine cold the fee comes to...........50,000 gold."
Al-Rassad smiles at hearing the price he wont be paying and responds "Of course, of course, how could i forget? Go to my estate, ive told you all about it on my trip, and tell whoever is there 'the robin is in his rightful nest" and you will recieve your 50,000, and an extra bonus of 20,000, my treat."
All of this was said with the most friendly, charming smile that the crier couldnt question the strange terms of payment. As the caravan turned away from the town and he turned towards it, an astute eye would be able to see him mouth the word "sucker"

Under his breath, Wyndfere says, "What is this charade? Wine and ice costing 50,000g? I could lend my services for far less a price. What imbiciles!"

Out of a sense of 'I-told-you-so', Wyndfere shoots an ice blast at a nearby rock. [50 ice]. "That'll show them." And storms off.
