Keg enters the warrior’s hall and find’s Taklin there napping. It is early yet and the dawn has not yet crested the mountains in the east. Keg sets a book on the warrior’s chest and steps back.
“There ya go lad, I hope this’ll explain to ya why ya could’na go.”, keg say as he turns to leave. “We shall talk more this evening.”

Taklinn wakes from his sleep, and looks to the book laying on his chest. He looks about to see if anyone is there, and sits up and begins looking at the book. He quietly reads the journal of his closest friend, coming to terms with why he was left behind to go to war.
