Biding Time

Nail Stormbringer stands behind The Shady Corner with a handful of daggers.  He takes the daggers, and one at a time throws them at a wooden target hanging on the wall of the tavern.  Most of the daggers stick into the target point first, but some bounce off, making a loud clanging sound.  After throwing all the daggers, Stormbringer retrieves them and begins the whole process again.
"I wish there was something to do around this town," he sighs, throwing another dagger at the target.  "Don't these people understand that I'm a man of action?  I grow restless, tense, and worste of all bored."  He throws another dagger, striking a bullseye.
"What I need is a quest.  An adventure.  For God's sake, I'd take an errand right now!"

A lone arrow flies past Nail's head and sinks deep into the tree next to the last silver dagger that was thrown. Atasatch stands behind Nail, and de-strings his bow he looks toward Nail and smiles. "Well if your looking for something to do ask around. Right now I'm still in search of that fang but every one I speak to is reluctant to share any information about it." Atasatch slings the bow into a pouch on his back and walks toward his human companion and sits down on a stump next to him.

Nail smiles as his friend approaches.  "If it were any other ranger's arrow that just grazed my ear, I might have been worried for a moment!"  Nail slaps Atasatch on the back and laughs.
"And of course nobody wants to help you find that fang.  If you were to ask for the propper way to feed yourself to a dragon, no sane man would be inclined to help you out either.  The damned thing is cursed, it's a werewolve's tooth for God's sake!  What will you be after next, my pointy-eared friend?  The chest hair of an Angori?"
Nail retrieves the daggers and laughs at his own joke.  "As to asking around, who pretell might I ask?  Are you aware of anybody who's in search of help?"

Atasatch ponders Nail's words he thinks a bit. "I know Corvax is looking for a trainer. But I do believe our dwarf friend has that covered but you never know.  Nail, do you think you could heklp me with this shard I know it has some property of light.  It can be used for good but no one believes me." Atasatch says as he walks to retrieve his arrow.

Stiers Steps out from around the coner *with a loud yell* Nail  come drink! We drink in honor of the dead....Stumbling around already tipsy, Stiers Looks at Atasatch with a smile  you come also the drinks are on me!!!

Nail rolls his eyes at the warlock, drinking so early in the day already.
"Ah, Stiers, that's the finest invitation I've recieved in quite some time.  You know, we have a saying in the Stormbringer clan about such offers: 'He who declines an offer for a free drink shall have to buy the next round!'  And I'm a bit short on gold at the moment, so I must accept."  Nail smiles as he follows Stiers into the Tavern, beckoning Atasatch to come with.
"Come, my toy-making companion!  We shall talk more of this magic item inside.  Our thoughts might be purer over a stout ale..."

"May i tag along, Nail" R.C said as he emerged from the shadows of another corner. "I have had NOTHING to do lately."

"You and I both, R.C.  Of course you can tag along, my friend," Nail says slightly startled that two people were able to sneak up on him so easily.  While glad that he has such skilled patrons on his side, it bothers Nail that he was so easily ambushed.  He was lucky it was just his friends and not another band of retched Orcs.
Nail walks inside the tavern to find most of the villagers about their various and usual activities.  He sits down with Atasatch and R.C. while Stiers goes to buy the first round.  "So tell me Atasatch, how can I help you find this fang?"

Atasatch looks at Nail and sets his hood down. "Well first Nail I need to ask around for information but every time I ask people run and hide I just need to you ask around.  The only ones left are the paladin, Corvax, the fairy's the alchemist and his friend the one that has the azul dradon on his shield."

Nail nods his head in recognition.  "Fair enough.  That I can do for you," he says, downing his drink and rising from the table.
Stormbringer walks into the middle of the tavern and takes a small piece of candy out of his pocket, holding it above his head.  The stands patiently holding his delicious beacon of sugar, sure that it will attract Ari and Ripper within minutes.
