Blondie leaves the tavern and starts walking. She heads off in one direction then pauses and furrows her brow. She then swirls about and heads in another direction...
until she pauses and furrows her brow. She then swirls about and heads in another direction...

*Repeat*
Blondie blinks then turns to Ripper. "Nope, I've been eating cookies!" She then cocks her head to one side. "But I was wondering where to go next. Nobody was in the tavern so I thought if I left I might have a better chance of finding everyone and maybe get to talk to a miner about buying some gems without them being cut cause every time I go to the bazaar all the uncommon gems are all cut and then I remember that maybe they could be at the mines cause thats where you mine but its scary down there so maybe I should ask someone but I couldnt find anyone at all." Her face turns red then she takes in a big breath.
The vampire leans slightly backward from the flood of information, though the corners of her lips curl slightly. She gives her head a tiny shake and gestures toward the healer's den and the tower.
"You should look for near-cousin Taki-sacks. He may be at the tower, or perhaps at the healer's den. If you find cousin Glimmer she can locate him."
Ripper smiled almost -too- gently at the brownie as she tottered off, head slightly cocked and eyes kind. Memories were friend and enemy now, pleasant but only a further reminder of the sacrifice involved in keeping her power.
As the fae turned back to continue her wandering, she glanced about conspiratorily to be sure she was alone, and then shoved the entire macaroon into her mouth at once like an overexcited child. Her wings began to flit in time with the muffled giggle that proceeded swallowing.
Five steps beyond that point showed the vampire in rare form that she would loathe to show around the rest, happy, almost carefree. But the sixth was her undoing, she halted in her spot, blinking several times and giving her head a bleary shake, eyes watering. Clawed hands moved to cover her stomach and stormclouds seem to roll through black eyes hard and fast.
Changing course to her shared cabin with Blondie, the fae staggered, stumbling once she neared the place and dropping to both knees. The pain in her gut siezed, finally ejecting the unwelcome food back from her throat entirely undigested but swathed in a thick coat of blood. Ripper sat backward, swiping tears from the corners of her eyes and pulling up a handfull of leaves to wipe her mouth.
"Ugh.. Right...Can't digest real food, but I thought that only happened to-"
The fae swallowed her words, and her emotions from the look of it. Her normally animated face became disturbingly placid. She fell backward like a stone, staring upward at the faint light filtering through the trees, black eyes wide. For several minutes she remained like this, as if frozen in time. And then, movement. A quiet coil of the lip. A slow crawl of the hand to loose the executioner's mask from her belt and slide it over her features. The vampire rose, stretching as she did as if she had been asleep for a terribly long time. Clawed fingertips slid through the front of her hair, adjusting it to frame the hammered metal as if it were truly her skin.
A botheringly mirthful chuckle boiled out of the mask. Voice very much like Ripper's but....somehow offward. Oddly gleeful.
"...To -true- vampires, yes."
Dark eyes searched the treeline for movement again, a snapping motion, and then, with another, conspiratorial laugh, the masked vampire disappeared into the woods to immortals know where.
Ripper passes en route toward the southern road and walks a few yards past the befuddled pixie before she seems to stop, as if recalling something, and then turns back to pass beside Blondie again. After a few moments she finally pipes up.
"Blondie, sweeting, is everything well? You haven't been eating will o' wisps have you?"
