Despite being new to the librarian position in the mage's tower, Mittens took to it naturally. Her natural love of knowledge and solitude, the grace and ease required to navigate the stacks, and a memory for information all made the library a place of warm solace. Though the library's books were plentiful on some areas of knowledge, in others it was lacking.
On a quiet afternoon, she remarked about this to Rune and asked a question that she had pondered since joining the guild.
"Where do you get all of these books? They are numerous and varied, but there are many books from certain years of history and none from others. Some races are well-documented and others less-so. Our maps leave some areas wholly undocumented. The library is the best I have seen, but perhaps more materials can be found to help it to grow."

The golem had been walking around the library with a brace of books when the mau spoke. Rune carefully sets the books down on a table near the feral. The books appear to have many new pages mixed in with old, as if they had recently repaired. "This one does not know." emits from the construct, "This one simply found this collection, Glimmer would know more on their origin. The gaps in the information concern this one as well. The primary purpose of the Docents is to curate and preserve knowledge, but few opportunities have presented themselves since the coming of winter."

Listening to his master and the Mau's conversation, Malkonius couldn't help but remember something he had read just recently, "Well, if ya be missin' some books, why not search the Hall of Names?  Now, I'm sure ya won't be able to take 'em, but ya may be able to study the writin's and compile the knowledge on anythin' we're missin'."

Mittens nodded, blinking at golem and dwarf in turn.
"I don't like battles or the petty squabbles of city life and the gods know that being around non-feline folk all the time grates at the nerves. I think perhaps I will go to find new books to bring back to the library. With Drakerim's blessing, I might even find an end to this foolish humanoid form along the way."

The golem nods, "Keep this one updated on your findings. Write often." Rune picks up the books it had set down and returns to finding places for them on the shelves. A dull hum emits from the golem as it goes about it's work.
