In the early eve of the day, the warm glowing radiance of the daystar overtook the woods surrounding Jastrey. Leaves and grass glistened with dew, a cool autumn breeze rustled through, but most was otherwise quiet and still. It had been unusually quiet as of late, as if the local wildlife had a knowing of all that happened, and what those in Jastrey were holding their breath against. Among the various sorts of flora that filled the road, a large oak tree sprouted from strong, deep roots. Jastrey's resident Saxum lay nestled by it's stout base fast asleep. From the look of it, she'd dozed there at some point in the night. Her loose wavey brown locks had tumbled over her resting face, dancing up and down with her breathing. She was slightly cocked due to the birdcage still strung on her back.
It didn't seem at first that she would rouse, but after a moment, one of the young woman's blue eyes peeled open. She peered at the fairy as if unsure if she were still dreaming. "Hmmm..?" The sound emited from her after a waking intake of breath. She pushed herself up a bit and brushed her hair back from her face. It was rather apparent she was still not totally cogniscent yet by her gazed over expression.
Gaius smiles brightly as the woman's eyes open and moves to hovering just a few feet in front of her.
"Hello, hello, hello. So sorry to wake you, but I wanted to make sure that you are feeling. I'm not exactly used to finding people sleeping on the ground this far out of town."
Gaius, just beginning his morning foraging, is fluttering about near the woods, searching here and there, when he spots a figure sleeping by a tree. He watches her for a minute, obviously confused by the figure sleeping on the ground, before fluttering over closer to her. After a quick glance over to confirm that she does not appear to be injured, Gaius speaks up.
"Ahem. Goooood Morning lady."
