((This is intended as a pseudo-blog/RP that is open for everyone. Please note I'm still stupid new on the complete Orn lore so if I use wrong names, locations, etc, please correct me so I can update it as appropriate. I feel like this is a fun way for me to do an RP as well as stay connected during my deployment. Corny, I know. But it'll help me feel better while I'm many time zones away from y'all :3 ))
As per the norm, Celest woke up after another fourteen hour nap. Missing the road to Jastery, and in bad need to see her friends; foregoing her situational awareness of the starke white parchment with red ink and a ice blue paw print. A sudden chill ran down her spine as the wind picked up. Despite the new seasonal summer coat, it's as if her fur isn't enough to keep this sudden sense of ice and worry filling her heart. Grabbing her coarse hair brush (cause the non-Ulfs of Jaestry don't maintain any Ulf friendly beauty care products), she worked on her luxurious tail and paws. Leaving the ears and head fluff alone, for some reason people like her head fur the way it lays. Especially a few Angori... They're pretty weird, but as long as they don't try to hurt her then any compliment from them is a good one.
Rolling up the sleep roll, pillow, stuffed golem plushie, and the remaining mess she left; placing it all neatly into her pack and setting back up towards the Jeastry Tavern. Cussing her stomach out every so often as she grazes on a pawful of cured chichen jerky; watching the occasional traveling strangler on the road. Despite the wonderful nap, the lack of food is killing her mood. While positive and upbeat, just feeling like something foul will land on a small gyro-moto quad-winged propeller device. Or whatever the Fae cause it. Either way, she better get going before the next Mestruns’ Meet and Greet.
((This is a two part, part one. I’m beat and got a flight in twelve hours. Brain outta wack so it’ll sound outta place rping in the third person; i.e. half asleep. So part two of part one will be released late tomorrowish with better grammer.))
Part one, 2/2
Despite the hyper attentive situational awareness that Celest developed from her days of getting into trouble; she wasn't aware when the air started to get bitter and heavy from the cooling moisture. Trudging on, with her forearms wrapped around her torso. Her panting grew weak as the summer heat was slowly turning into winter. Tail lowered, ears splayed to the sides, shuddering violently; as her vision slowly started to darken.
Half a kilometer behind Celest, winter grabbed hold of the various flora and asserting it's cold dominion upon two medium sized boulders. Ice split from within the rock, delicately carving the formless orbs into towering ice golems. Roughly standing at (seven feet in meters), a hauntingly sick blue pulsing glow between the joints and superficial face etched into the rock, and faint red energy markings levitating around the torso of the golems in the shape of a simple house sigil tabard. The symbol; an ancient looking male Ulf wielding a long sword made of brimstone in his left paw and a long dagger made of glacial steel in his right paw. Sitting in a meditative state, with various house sigils surrounding the Ulf.
Celest shuddering once more, as her mind slowed even more. Crunching in a thin layer of snow, not giving it a second thought as she pressed herself against a large tree. Slowly breathing in deeply, and the sudden shock of burning filled her lungs. It's been nearly five years since she last survived a real winter. Jaestry never had one as far as she's aware, but she makes it a point every so often that she is made for the tundra and deserts of winter (mostly to terrify the younger Mau, fool the seasoned Ulf adventurers, and tricking the Angori from eating her; describing her self like biting into a giant icy block of fish). Closing her eyes for a moment, warming herself gently by grabbing her blades and curling her toes. "Somethings up... I've never felt so scared in my life before." She thought to herself as she looked down the road, finally seeing the top of the Jaestry Tavern. Giving into a beaming, but worried smile as she started up on her journey to her friends and family.
The golems began to move, fully formed and gained their single objective: capture and return Celest "home". Their eyes glow cold, as the swiftly pushed themselves into the ice covering their feet and swift traveled to Celest's slow travels.
Celest's ears twitched, hearing an eerie sound of tiny shattered glass. Heading towards her backside, she quickly turned around. Only catching a glimpse of something at the corner of her right eye as one golem reformed right in front of her, as both fists extend towards her head. Leaping back, as the second golem pushed up from it's traveling form and swung at the back of Celest's head. Giggling at their cute display of tactics, getting over confident as she ducked the last punch and back spring into the closest tree. Ears angrily splayed back, tail proudly high and puffed up from the sudden shock of adrenaline to her body. "The fuck ya from?! We got a 'nough golems in town that we don't need none at this time. (Insert dan's character name) could use another apprentice, so kindly fuck off!" Taking a better look at the energy formed tabards on the twin golems, her eyes grew huge. Sudden shortness of breath cursed her large ego, tightening her grip on her blades. The sigil, it was her family's. They found her. They may not kill her, but she knows they want to capture her at the minimum. Both golems charge the tree, one grabs it at the base and pulls; the other leapt up and sprayed some kind of ice spell that frozen everything in it's place. Celest got this, this'll be even easier than that one time she smashed a punch of human kids into dust for messing with some old man's warehouse. They deserved it, kinda... Maybe...
Jumping at a nearby tree, she placed her blades back into their sheathed. Swiftly landed back onto the ground with a light crunch beneath her hindpaws. "Naw, fuck this!" Booking it to the Tavern, unaware as one of the golems made it to her right side and shoulder checked her with it's ice breath from it's fist. Knocked the wind out of her as she was flung into a more reclusive area of the Jaestry woods. "Damn it... W- WEYLYN! WE- ! Screaming for help until a silencing spell wrapped around her throat, miming her screams of help until the second golem fell from the sky. Crashing right next to Celest's shocked body, as a few tears filled her eyes. "PACIFICATION..." The second golem's fist formed into a short sword and plunged it's tip into Celest's right hindpaw. "...COMPLETE. INITIATE VOID LEAP OF PRISONER." Her face still retained its scream for help, but with rapidly growing tears. The helplessness grew stronger, as the attackers and herself swiftly melded into the ground, then silence.
Garen was scratching away at a piece of parchment with a quill when he saw a familiar Ulf enter the Shady Corner. Waving he said, "Celeste! It's been a while, come sit with me I have exciting news", waving down the tavern girl he said, "A drink and a hot meal for her, put it on my tab"
