Garith strides forth into the Healer's Den and glances around looking for Adyslaine. He lowers his hood and removes his robe and hangs it by the door as well as lean his staff against the wall nearby and begins to search around.
Seeing someone who matches the description of Adyslaine stand he makes his way over to her. "Greetings friend my name is Garith and I am a newcomer to this town. I hear from my friends that you are the master mage of this city so I have come here to seek your aid in training."
Adyslaine removes herself from the piles of books and walks toward Garith. She puts out her hand to greet him, and notices the many ink stains on her fingers. She hastily wipes her hands on her black robes and nods at Garith with a smile.
"Greetings, Garith. I am Adyslaine. What is it that you seek to learn?"

"Yes. Yes, I am." She turns toward the stacks of books, then hesitates, looking stricken. She clears her throat.
"There are a couple of tomes in there somewhere that would be useful for you to read. However, they're a bit charred in places. I've been copying them myself a little bit at a time so that I can preserve them."
She walks over to the stacked desk and spends a few moments in concentration searching for the books she needs.
"Aha! Here they are."
She walks toward Garith and hands him two tomes. "These should be useful: The Principles of Fire, Vol. 1 and Charm Your Enemies. You browse those in your spare time to get the theories ingrained in your brain and in the meantime we'll work on the hand movements necessary for casting."

Thalenir enters the Healer's Den and glances around casually. He nods in greeting to Garith and Adyslaine. "Don't mind me. I was just looking for a quiet place to practice my craft and I figured I'd be in good company here." He smiles and takes a seat in the corner, where he takes out a few sheets of parchment and begins to write.
After a few minutes, he chuckles and says quietly to himself, "More wizards than healers in the Healer's Den these days. I wonder how much Nevara would care if we started calling it the Library instead..."

Thalenir puts down his pen and lifts the paper he's been writing on, inspecting it as he blows gently on it to dry the ink. "That finishes that, then," he says quietly to himself. He walks outside only to return a few minutes later with a cage containing a small white rabbit.
Thalenir lifts the rabbit from its cage and gently places it in a cleared-out space in the corner. "Don't worry, little one. Nobody's going to hurt you, least of all me," he says, closing his eyes in concentration and making spell signs with his hands. He casts one spell, causing the rabbit to become suddenly docile. He then casts another spell, and the rabbit's demeanor returns to normal. He repeats this cycle for some time, resting every few minutes and feeding the rabbit stray bits of vegetable.

Garith goes over to his table reaches into his pouch and pulls forth a rolled up cloth. He lays it on the table and unrolls it revealing may small insturments and a glass that he pulls from a small pocket. He reaches into his pouch again and pulls out a small bag. He places the bag on the table and opens it revealing many small shinning uncut gemstones. He places the glass to his eye and begins to examine a gem that he pulls from the pile. He then picks up some tools and begins to work the gemstone.
Ignacia walks quietly into the den, she looks around the room for the one they call Adyslaine. She sees a woman sitting amidst a flurry of papers and books. "This must be the one Im looking for" she says to herself. She walks over to the cloaked woman and introduces her self. "Hello my name is Ignacia and I am seeking someone to help me learn the Magical Arts, I can see how busy you are and would appreciate greatly your wisdom".
Adyslaine looks up from the desk and smiles at Ignacia. "Why, hello there, Ignacia. I'm never too busy to assist a fellow practitioner of magic. What can I help you with?"

Angaelica walks into the healers den looking around for a certain someone. She sees the cloaked woman that she is looking for and walks over to her. Pardon me are you Adyslaine? I am Angaelica. I am looking for some training in some wizardry. Would you be willing to teach me?
Thalenir chuckles. "You seem to be quite the popular instructor these days, Adyslaine." He continues chanting his spells at the rabbit for a few moments, then wipes the sweat off of his brow. "I suppose I could take some students off of your hands. It would save you some time, and it's the least I can do for your instruction a few weeks ago. Just give me a few days to finish my current studies. I think I've just about got the hang of this." He turns his attention back to the rabbit, which seems none the worse for wear despite more than a week of repeated charming.

Adyslaine reaches out to shake Angaelica's hand. "I certainly would, Angaelica. I'm always happy to further a fellow wizard's education."
Looking around the Healer's Den, Adyslaine sighs and turns to Thalenir. "I think I will have to take you up on that offer, Thalenir. I need to spend more time working on finding another place for us to study. Nevara has been quite generous, but we are taking up a great deal of her space."
Turning back to Angaelica, Adyslaine says, "Come over to my desk, dear, and we'll set up a lesson plan and schedule. Try not to trip over the books."

Thunder can be heard as the bookish of Jastrey read and study. At first the thunder is dull and low, but very soon it is loud enough for everyone to take notice. As it seems to come closer loud shouts in a foreign tongue can be heard.
For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.

Without a moment's pause, Thalenir grabs his sword and shield and darts out the door. From her own quiet corner of the healer's den, Haven rises and follows quickly in his stead.
The rabbit, sensing that it is now unattended, sniffs the air and scurries behind a stack of books.

"We need your help. There's a dead giant out in front of the tavern. I think that commotion we heard earlier was him being dragged here and killed by a pair of dragons. Whatever's going on, we won't know a thing unless the giant lives."

"I understand your reservations, but there is more than enough strength of arms to subdue the brute after you heal it. I don't know about you, but I'm more than a little curious why such a thing got dropped in front of the tavern by a pair of dragons, and letting it expire does nothing to answer that question." His look of concern deepens. "For all we know, this could have something to do with Scorch."

Thalenir follows Nevara. "Something like that. I only got a look at them from a distance, but they were definitely big and had red, scaly wings. It could just be a coincidence that a pair of draconic creatures deposit an ogre on our doorstep, but I'd rather be sure than make assumptions."

Adyslaine's ears perk up at the sounds of someone entering the Den. She looks up from her writing, but sees nothing but the stacks of partially burnt books that are surrounding her on all sides. She stands up from her desk and calls out. "Hello? Who's there?"
