Cogwaggle's Free to Play, Pay to Win Challenge!

With a slightly unnatural glow in the mid day sun Wreynn strides up to the town post, and attaches a dry, and somewhat aged pice of paper with elegant flowing script with the following:

The Cogwaggle games series continues with a variant of everyone's favorite childhood game.  No Urodeq's its not Hide and Go Hide (but that's coming soon), but KING OF THE HILL!  But there's no good hill in Jastrey and it wouldn't be fun if I had to stand on top of a hill all day to win, so how do you play?  Well isn't that a silly question, and the reason why the rules are always included in the post.  But first a special condition is going to be added to the games this month.  This month the Coggwaggle games event is ABSOLUTELY FREE!  That's right, absolutely no charge at all to play, and still a lovely prize up for grabs at the event's conclusion.  However, you'll have to pay to win!

But its free to play you say? How can it be pay to win too?  Oh fine, let me get to the rules and I'll explain it already.

By random lottery one "lucky" individual will be given a pink flag notating the hill.  The person who captures the hill by reducing their target (the current hill) to 0 health claims the flag and becomes the new hill.  When you've claimed the hill check in with your local Cogwaggle Industries Representative, hereby referecned as Representatitve, and they will credit you with one point.  Over the course of play there will be several checkpoints, typically at meals and other points of tedium throughout the day where a Representative will announce a time interval starting at 30 minutes.  Whomever is holding the hill at the designated time will be awarded 5 points.  Points will be kept secret by the game's Representative and revealed only at the end of the game.  Points may also be purchased at 1 gold each and you must have purchased at least one point in order to claim the 5 point bonus for holding the hill at designated times.

As per normal Cogwaggle Industries games, gratiutious slaying of townsfolk is highly frowned upon and the use of crit and killing blow techniques are strictly forbidden.

Fine print: All typical PvP rules apply.  Entarnce in Cogwaggle games is strictly voluntary and falls under the Ornish Council Rules for Fair Play and Organized Duels Act.  Crit and Killing Blow actions are disallowed for the scope of the game, those who choose to wear RED armbands are excluded from this and other rules of the OCRFPODA.  Some Exclusions apply, Cogwaggle and Cogwaggle Industries do not support the wanton slaying of random travelers.  If you can't find a monster, keep your dagger in your pants.  Please Slay Responsibly!
