A Delivery

Belemrys walked into the Shady Corner, his cloak tightly pulled over him so as to not reveal anything underneath. He scanned the room and began a slow, controlled walk towards that back where an interesting office was located.

Fae had always been too fickle for Bel’s taste, but they sure were an interesting race.  The Immortals had taken time when creating the fae, their wings so intricate and seemingly fragile. Bel finally walked up to Glimmer’s station and said, “Good day m’Lady. I have come to deliver to you something for once, as promised…” Belemrys takes out from under his cloak a long vase with three huge sunflowers with dark centers and bright yellow petals and then places them on her desk.

Glimmer squeels in delight, jumps on top of her desk, and claps three times.  "OH HOW GLORIOUS!!!!"  She then looks to and fro, shifting her eyes, and whispers "Did you bring the other goods?  I'm starving."  She jumps about and dangles the flowers over the rafters in her office.

Bel chuckes and reveals what is in his other hand; a plate full of sugar cookies with steam still rising. "Let them cool off a bit...they are hot and have not firmed up yet! I hope you find the good satisfactory m'Lady."

Glimmer eyes the cookies willfully, then in a flurry of wings and glomps, she palces her face directly in the plate and the cookies are gone.  She then begins licking her desk to gather the remnants of the crumbs.  Righting herself again, she turns to Bele and says "Thank you oh so much.  I was getting sleepy.  Now I'm all fixied.  Much appreciated, good sir.  You've attained your mission for today!  Want some tea?  Of course you do!"  Glimmer pulls two cups from her desk and pours piping hot tea into two cups, with the usual sugar lumps included.  Nine for Bele, and 14 for herself.  She sets the cup in front of Bele and says "There we are!"

"Ah, yes please...I too am quite ready for some sleep. The tea will help with that." Bel shifts his cloak as he takes a seat. "How is work? I heard the New Dawn is no more? What do you do on your spare time now?"

Glimmer makes a hacking sound, and spits something into her hand, then mashes it into the shape of a cookie.  "I forgotted to offer you some cookie.  Have some!"  She shoves the chewed cookie at Bele.  "As for the Dawn, it's done and over with.  I just do my works here and there and love on my Taklinn, when I'm not busy training Henrietta.  I tried joining the Brotherhood, but they said no.  I'm unsure of why just yet, but best believe I'll be finding out!"

Bel's eyebrow shot up. "The Brotherhood said no? How did that happen?! I thought with Taklinn and your amazingness it would be a shoe-in." Belemrys took the plate and looked at it and smiled. "You should have it! I had some before I came."

At the site of Bele turning Glimmer's hacked up cookie down, Glimmer shrieks wildly and grabs him by the ear, slowly dragging him towards the tavern.  "YOU SIMPLY MUSN'T EVER TURN DOWN AN OFFER FROM A FAE!"  She hiccups wildly, and continues dragging him into the center of the tavern chastising him in a child like manner.  "I'm highly offended by that action.  It's simply not acceptable.  I'm sorry I hacked it up, but I was being rude and I apologized.  We must fix this.  Right now."

The dignified ixifar found himself surprised by the strength of the fae.His tea spilled all over the table and cloak made him trip over himself but that did not stop the fae...He was dragged out to the tavern and could be heard screaming expletives in a foreign tongue he seemed fluent in, "QUE COÑO ES ESTO?! LE TRIAGO ALGO DELICIOSO Y AHORA ME TRARTA COMO MALDITO NIÑO! OYE MUJER DEJAME EN PAZ!!!"

When she finally stops moving he gets up and brushes the dust off his clothing and tried to regain some dignity, "It was not my intentention to turn down any offer from you, indeed I truly was full with my Sugar for the day, I am not as lithe as I once was and so I am taking steps..."  Bel straightened up and sucked in his robust belly and offered a solution, "...but I am known to give great hugs m'Lady. Would that fix our issue?"

Glimmer, taken aback by his outburst, yells in return "Tendrá que tomar lo que te doy y te va a gustar!"  She then opens her arms to accept the hug, and sucks down 4 candies immediately.  "This is much better.  Let's re-try the tea."  She release the Ixifar and sits down at a table, pouring more tea.

"Sure, so why is it that the Brotherhood denied you? It defies logic...is it because you are a woman?"

Glimmer looks a bit taken a back by the line of questioning and says "That is neither here nor there.  A no is a no."  Glimmer stuffs the last of her cookies in her mouth, and eyes Belemrys.

A dark chuckle could be heard entering the tavern. "There is a reason why they are called the -brother-hood." She smirked, slinking into the tavern, eyes bemused, but lacking a lot of the life they usually had in them. "I must say, you two make quite the racket. I thought the goblins had run amuck in here again..."

"Aye a racket indeed, but I am not sure about this we business. I had little choice! Anyhow m'lady Glimmer, it is time to take my leave." Bel gathers his cloak and leaves the tavern in the direction of his cabin.

"Well of course he had no choice about it.  My cookies, my flowers, silly chicken!"  Glimmer whispers to Akon, then turns in horror that she'd just spoken to her, and flits about wildly before settling back to her tea.

Solas pushes open the door of the tavern. His stark white hair is neatly slicked back, and his blindfold sits, securely blocking his vision. He seems to be dressed presentably. He wears a blue collared shirt, unlaced, revealing the silver necklace beneath. His long black coat flaps at the heels of his shined boots. And in his hand, he holds a piece of yellowed parchment.
He smiles slightly as he inhales the scent of freshbaked cookies. He begins to walk toward the group. He offers a low bow to Glimmer, as well as to Akon.
"Madam Glimmer, I was hoping to find you here." Solas says. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Akon blinked a few times as the Fae....though she really shouldn't be suprised at her antics anymore. She rubbed her eyes then watched Solas enter quietly, pulling out her drinking flask from her hip and taking a sip. She gave a respectful nod in greeting to Solas at his offered bow.

Glimmer wildly eats more cookies and flits to hug Solas.  "Hi Solas!  What do you wish to speak with me on since you're looking for me?"  Glimmer eyes the warlock, hisses, and pushes a cookie to her.

Solas eyes the Warlock suspiciously from behind his blindfold before sighing slightly. "Yes, well you see, I have a letter I'd like you to deliver to an old friend." He says calmly, handing over the parchment to the fae.
The paper is folded twice into itself, so that the folds create even thirds. It is  not in an envelope, but still sealed with Dark Green Wax. Written in a jagged hand writing, it says "To be sent to the Empyrean, Woden, Master Seer of the Hands of Fate."

Glimmer eys Solas in understanding and says "Yes Yes.  Deliver it I shall I must!  So many deliveries!  I will do it yes I must!"  Glimmer hiccups viciously and takes the letter as she flits to and fro.

Solas offers a bow to the fae. "Thank you kindly, Madam. Perhaps we can discuss payment?" He says, curiously.
