Election Results

On the Second's Second of Yentrischt in the 724th year of the sixth age, the people of Jastrey convened peaceably to elect public officials. Among those present, the following individuals were elected to undertake the duties of governance.

  • Thalenir of Beryl was elected to serve as Jastrey's Magistrate.
  • Kevass the Outcast was elected to serve as Jastrey's Sheriff.
  • Dreygor DeLeon was elected to represent the Warrior's Hall in the Town Council.
  • Haven Melrose was elected to represent the Healer's Den in the Town Council.
  • Corvax was elected to represent the Brotherhood of the Bladed Gavel in the Town Council.
  • Despair was elected to represent himself and those in his company, primarily including Sabian Shadowmoon and Azriel.
  • In the absence of another suitable representative, Jeb Baumgarten shall represent the common folk who do not stand in affiliation with a recognized group.

Council Vacancies

Let it be known that the Town Council has one vacancy and one abstention.

As the only member of the Merchant's Hall is barred from serving as Magistrate and Councilman at the same time, the Merchant's Hall is currently without a representative. Those who wish to represent the Merchant's Hall on the Town Council must express their wishes to the Magistrate so that they can be considered for election at the next Council meeting.

Firelily, the mistress of the Tranquil Glade, has expressed her wish that the Glade be unaffiliated with the Council. Therefore, no representative has been appointed for them.

Next Council Meeting

I, Thalenir of Beryl, as acting Magistrate of Jastrey, do hereby call for the first meeting of the Town Council to be held in the Merchant's Hall on the First's Elgen of Nenhrelock of this year (OOP: Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 in the Merchant's Hall forum). All representatives to the Town Council are required to attend. Other citizens of Jastrey are invited to sit in on the meeting, as well. At a minimum, the meeting agenda shall include the following:

  • The election of individuals to vacant positions on the Town Council, if applicable;
  • The designation of Deputies by the Sheriff;
  • The choosing of a basic set of laws by which Jastrey shall be governed;
  • A preliminary discussion on the issue of taxation.

Thalenir of Beryl
Magistrate of Jastrey

P.S. It has come to my attention that Jeb and Abigail Baumgarten have declined to represent the common folk on the Town Council. Therefore, this position shall be open to volunteers in the same manner described above for the Merchant's Hall representative.
