Erdan, a short-stacked human, stands in front of the village people. Among them are his parents, the tavern owners, which many said Erdan looks nothing like.
His father approaches him, "Son, you have become a great man among us. Served us in the tavern, tended to your fellow neighbors in times of need, and now mastered the use of your sword. And as a man, go now and become a great hero."
Erdan holds his ground and looks his father in the eye. They shake hands, grabbing each others arms.
As Erdan turns to walk the trail, he looks back to the villagers, waves goodbye and heads to the nearest town where he knows other adventurers are nearby.
