Goblin engineering

An obviously injured and quite angry drakna hobbles back into town, relying heavily on his left foot, muttering a continuous thread of draconic:

"Pothoc dask somati anqu silajir deevdru di vi screruq... daar abhlek! Vur vin elbakiw tangis! Si vucata dout cirau jahus ergriff bensvelk ihk banpri tawura wux xihuulina achuak nuwa'yobolat!"

Bursting through the doors of the healer's den and looking about, trying to compose himself, bust still coming across as a very angry, snarling drakna:

"Is there someone here who can help fix my foot? I made the mistake of trusting a goblin in matters of engineering!" >_<

The Dwarf Jerond Fireforge was in the healer's den, decanting his medicines and preparing battle-ready medical kits for use in combat.
Upon seeing the Drakna enter he exclaimed “ Espidrel's beard!... What's become o' ye Lad?… Yer hoof be mangled and twisted!” He offered the Drakna a seat and a stool to put his leg up. “Nay have I had call fer t' help yer kind ere now”.
He waited for the Drakna to offer the tale of what had happened.

His anger subsiding a good deal at the sight of the dwarf he had seen once before, the drakna took the offered seat with a wince, resting back heavily.

"Actually- master dwarf- we have met once before. Though I know not your name, I know you as friend; for it was you who helped me my first night in Jas-ter-y."

Taking hold of his leg with both claws the drakna lifts it onto the stool as carefully as possible.

"And now it seems that a combination of ill-fate involving a goblin has given me a chance to meet you proper sir. You may call me Nightclaw; before I begin the tale, may I know your name good master dwarf?"

“I be Jerond Fireforge o’ the Clan Fireforge.” The Dwarf responds with a dignified air.
“I turns my trade by the forge but I be a Shaman and a healer… servin’ the doers o’ right and thwartin’ the doers o’ evil.”
He turns a quizzical gaze on the Drakna “Which be yer path so as I know as how t’ treat ya?”

The drakna bows his head in greeting at the dwarf's introduction.

"Well met Jerond Fireforge, shaman and healer."

"I'd certainly like to think I've walked the path of good more than evil... But I don't know. All I can say is that I gave up everything to save someone I cared about; and I'd hope that time judges my actions as just..."

The drakna brings a claw up to his noseridge, lowering his head a moment as he recomposes himself.

"I'm afraid I am unfamiliar with the clan Fireforge; whence do you call home, if I may ask?"

The dwarf frowned. “Hah, wagglin’ tongues make twisty words” he muttered, seeming to be confused by the Drakna’s ambiguous answer and put off by its failure to enthusiastically claim to be a 'doer of right'.
Jerond lifted his chin high and said: “We Dwarves can all go tracin’ back to one o’ the Twelve First Dwarves.  A son of Fireforge I am! He built the first forge and learned o’ the secrets fer heating metal.”
“So, Nightclaw be yer name then, Aye.” his gaze lowered to the Drakna “Tell me yer tale as t’ how ye maimed yer hoof there…  “ I were sure as I got a drop o’ Troll Serum here  in one o’ me bags” He begins to rummage through the medicines he has prepared.

"Nightclaw is what I will answer to; my name requires much more "wagglin' tongues" and "twisty words" master Jerond."

The drakna smiles a little before looking back to his foot, scowling again.

"I had attempted to contract an engineer of sorts in an endeavor of mine. All this- *waving my arm in a circle* being above ground- the air, the light, the vast open areas... I miss my caves, and my stone, and my darkness- I believe as a dwarf you should be able to sympathize with the feeling somewhat. Regardless, I rather reluctantly engaged the services of this so called "King" Nasher, an 'achuak nuwa'yobolat'- sorry, goblin- his kind are dubious artisans to say the least, and if I were home I would not have trusted him to this task at all. *huffing* As I rightly would have been as well. The wretch not only utterly failed in his task, but broke my foot in the process- and then had the gall to ask for payment!"

The drakna gives another agitated huff, sighing heavily as he recomposes himself, his tail thrashing a bit agitatedly as it hung off the side of the chair.

"This is a very strange place this Jas-ter-y; I'm not sure I like it, but I suppose for the time being I am stuck here."

"Hmmph, them goblins, they be a foul lot, nay doubt ye that" said the dwarf. "Aha!, yer in luck!" he exclaimed. "Here be a bottle of the finest Troll Serum t' be had". Fer naught but one gold piece, I can sells ye this elixir and have ye back on yer... uh... hooves.. in a hurry". Jerond held up a potion bottle with a dark liquid and a small cork.

"If it weren't for the fact Zwey seems to have some fondness for the 'shashtiup moxt cukka' I'd..."

The drakna trails off, sneering, his claws around some imaginary object before him - recomposing himself again as he sits back rummaging in his pouches.

"Most generous of you good master Jerond; while goblins may not serve a useful purpose, at least trolls can do some good."

Chuckling a little to himself at the though of some alchemist trying to reduce something useful out of Nasher's remains as he pulls out a gold coin.

"I imagine if some poor daft fool tried to get anthing of use out of that green fleshling they'd likely only get the vilest smelling, most gut wrenching, albeit powerful alcohol known to Orn."

Laughing as he leaned forward to give the dwarf the coin.

[Nightclaw has sent 1 gold to Jerond Fireforge.]

"Here ya go then" offered the dwarf. "Troll Serum one, Troll Serum two, Troll Serum three... Renew Limb". As he poured the liquid onto the injured Drakna, the maimed hoof flexed, twisted and became whole again.  "Take ye care if be ye dealin' with any more Goblins." He advised. "Nay do they oft be comin' t' any good".                                                      [Jerond Fireforge has sent 1 Troll Serum to Nightclaw]

The drakna huffed and grunted a bit as the foot returned to it's original state, clawing the chair seat as he gripped it.

"That's certainly an unusual sensation-"

Wiggling his toeclaws, flexing and unflexing the repaired appendage before tentatively putting it on the floor, testing it before standing up.

"It seems I owe you my thanks again master Jerond; if ever I may be of assistance to you, you have but to ask. As for goblins- I certainly don't intend to have any kind of dealings with their kind again; if nothing else this whole debacle has served to show how unsuited they are for complex work."

Rising to his feet, faltering a moment before regaining his balance, the drakna offers a claw to the dwarf, smiling.
