The next day, Akon walks with heavy steps into the warrior's hall. She presses her palm to the door as if it weighed far more than it should, the dark circles around her eyes looking even darker, and her motions slothlike. She sighs, seeming far more tired than usual, and finally pushes herself half into the door, pushing it the rest of the way open. Letting the sunlight trickle in behind her, she pulls down her hood and steps into the shadow cast by the hall. She takes a seat by the forge, slouching down, and closing her eyes. She waits for Zenphere, rubbing her finger and thumb into her temples, her shoulders slumping tiredly.
Akon jumps slightly, feeling the hand, then relaxes when she hears the voice, then mumbles somewhat begrudingly. "Chances of that happening are next to none...though immortals be praised if I actually did manage it.....regardless. You said you had something important you wished to speak with me about?"
Zenphere nods and sits down next to Akon. "yes, I do indeed.." He looks down at the floor, takes off the crown and puts it on the table infront of him. "Several weeks ago, I found a map.. A strange map.. Me, my father, and a bunch of our men went on a great journey.. We were searching for a sword that was once wielded by my greatest ancestor. We successfully found it, disenchanted it from it's evil powers and freed my ancestors spirit from the evil deeds it made him do.. I finished absorbing his soul into this ring.." Zenphere points at the ring he wears around his neck. It gleamed as he looked at it. "Recently.... My father died in a war.. And I became king.." Zenphere balls his fist, then relaxes it again.. "I took the spirits sword.." He said. "And no one in the town has seen it yet.. I am afraid it could endanger the town, even if it was disenchanted.. But seeing that it is safe, i thought youshuld be the first to see it.." Zenphere pulls out a large wooden box with the engraving of a "Z" on the front with a lightning bolt across it. Zenphere unlatches it and opens it. -BOOM!!- A low pitched noise bursts into the air as if opening a stuffed balloon. A large sword is seen inside the box. "It is lighter then a feather and sharper then steel.." Zenphere closes the box and puts it away.
Akon eyes the ring, then watches Zenphere, but without her usual sharpness, as if everything is being processed with a lag in her mind, blinking tiredly. "Ah...a magnificent blade indeed. I'd have to wield it to feel it's true make, but from the looks of it, it seems the fine blade. You say it was once evil however? And you've disenchanted it, but you stll feel it is dangerous?"
"Yes.. I just don't want any more trouble in my life.. Or this town.. Ever since my brother was slain, my father dead.... Zanardine, this town, and my beloved Sireth have been all thats left for me now.. I care not for the crown.. Oh and I wouldn't mind you to wield it, but it simply cannot be wielded by anyone other then a Zanardine..."
Akon sits back, folding her arms. 'Well, it's not completely unreasonable to think you'd be paranoid about such a thing as that sword, even if it is now harmless. Considering all you've been through. But are you saying you now have the soul of an ancestor locked up in that ring around your neck?"
"Indeed.. But someone told me about it.. He said it was the most powerfull thing he had ever seen in his years.. He said not only is it a container of a soul..... But he said it is a weapon.. It is what made this.." Zenphere points at his chestplate.. It is white with a red star in the middle and golden trimming on the sides.. "The man said it gives access to all realms.. And the Realms we know about don't even scratch the surface of what is out there.. I have discovered a new Realm.. But there are billions more.. This ring grants access to all of them.." Zenphere looks down.. "Fancy... I think I am catching on to something really really big..."
Suddenly, Zenphere places his hand on Akon's shoulder. "Don't fall asleep on me now, Fancy." He says with a grin.
