Broad daylight gleaming through the trees, the road silent. A man can be seen standing in the middle. Face frozen looking straight. Not blinking, stone still.. Staring.... It was the man from the incedent at the farm last-night that Katri knows most about.

The man looks down.at the ground. "They don't deserve.." He mumbled. Then, there could be seen several cut marks on his skin. There was a large cut on his face, bleeding deeply. "I will kill.." He said. The man took a step slowly and lightly ignoring the pain. He kept walking and entered the Tavern. It was in unfamiliar face. "Give me.. Gold.. They need...... Gold.." The man hit the table. He had a sword in his hands, blood on it.. Freshly cut.

Rivka the goblin, who was busy crunching on a cicada that she had found crawling across a table, looked up at the bloodied man entering the tavern.  She hadn't seen him before, or yet heard any of the rumors about the strange messages around town.

She stood up nervously as he hit his sword against the table.  "Eek!"  She backed away a few steps.

"You....  yous hurt?"

As from outta no where there comes a voice beside Rivka. "Leave this place Lady Rivka. And as for you my bloodied friend please don't be stupid. Leave the same way you came and you shall not die this day."

Rivka's eyes darted quickly left, then right, looking for the source of the voice, but didn't see Keyoda, for he was the only one she knew that referred to the goblin as 'Lady'.

"Why Rivka leave?" she asked the air, putting her eyes back on the stranger before her.  She held a dagger in her clawed hand and it glowed softly around the edge.

"Because thees parteecular person ees no good to be around." Katri entered the door behind the man and answered the goblin's question as she stepped around him.

The man leaned on the table for support. "You people don't know what its like.. To be sick.. Hungry.. Homeless.. Simply dying on the streets as you watch these rich folks walking in there shining armour... I don't want to kill you... I want to kill him.. And him only.." The man gripped his sword tighter..

"well then friend tell us who "he" is and maybe we can help you" the voice says. Keyoda appears from what looks like mid air bow armed and ready. "Now be a good boy and put down the sword so we can talk. I assure you if you put it down no harm will come to you but if you chose otherwise you will not make it out of here alive."

"Heh.. You are all so battle ready for such a small town.. I don't need your help.. They need help.. And I am giving it to them.." The man stands up and walks forward towards Keyoda, the katana still tightly in his grasp.

"You really wanna do this? You really fight with all these others around?" puts his hand behind his back. "You sure the beating you took didn't scramble your brain there a bit pal?"

The man stopped and put his hand out for a shake.. He grinned.. "Though my actions may have been cruel, I have seen that your town is no different then my village... I do not wish to kill you if none of you get in my way.. If you allow me, I will help you.. All I wish for is the rich to die, and there money go to the poor.. I grew up in a poor village.. I saw my own father be decapetated.. So please, let us not spill blood on this day over petty remorse.. What say you?" The man flipped the katana around, holding the blade and the handle pointing upward.. The man didn't have a sheathe, just a rusty, battle-worn katana...

The goblin looked at the man that seemed to speak in riddles.   But she was quick to grab onto his offer of help.

"Rivka help yous if yous help Rivka find the sword Val-Tor," she said, taking a few steps closer to the man. "What rich hooman yous kill?"

Katri scoffs at the arrogant man. For one who was soo poor and bloodied he appeared to be quite self-entitled. She walked to the rear of the tavern/art studio without another word to the man and only a cold glance. She trusted him about as far as she could throw him. Choosing a spot in a dark  corner, the uordeq sat, leaning back against the wall, eyes trained icily on the beaten man.

Folnir scowls at the bloodied man interrupting his drinking time by bleeding all over the tavern floor. He gets up off his stool and strides over to the man taking the time to clear his throat.

"Thats a real great story but how is killing the educated elite going to solve your towns poverty? If you had spend time learning to farm or raise livestock instead of swordplay then maybe your people wouldn't be starving or poor. If you want to help us out manling please take a step outside and bleed elsewhere." The dwarf said finding a nearby soap box to stand upon.

The man kept his head locked on the goblin. "my village is poor because of the rich folk.. I was only a small boy when they came in and killed.. Tortured.. Burned.. I saw my own father get decapetated, if you did not hear.. This is his sword.." The man showed the dwarf the old katana. "I don't care about people.. I don't care about any of you.. As long as you can help me get to him, we have an.. Whats it called? an alliance.." The man moved to one of the benches without even being noticed.. "My name is Ninjai.. I am a peasant from Upper-Metsar and I will kill the man that killed my father.."

noticing the stranger is no longer paying him no mind Keyoda goes to where Rivka is sitting and takes a seat to keep an unseen eye on this person <blend>

"I can see the need to avenge the death of your father, but eet ees not necessary to act like a fhool over the state of you're village's lack ohf vealth. You act like a petulant child. Don't take out your poverty on innocents" Katri growled from her back corner of the tavern, turning her head toward him slightly.

"You people lack the ability to listen.. They came in and killed newborns.. They slaughtered the mothers of innocent children and battled the fathers like mine until they suffered a slow painful death.. My words have been spoken.. I don't have anymore time to talk.." The man turned around and kicked the doors of the tavern open, almost ignoring the pain, and walked out, dissapearing in the shadows..

Astrum meets the angered man outside of the tavern.  He'd obviously been listening the entire time.

"You say that the rich murdered your people.  You say they did cruel things to innocent mothers and children.  Well look at yourself.  You walk into this town.  You demand money from innocent people, you threaten to kill a mother."  Astrum gestures inside towards Katri, "You destroy property, and attempt to release your anger on those that have done nothing to wrong you."

Astrum sneers.

"You are no different than those who murdered your village.  You just do it under the guise of morality."

The wizard begins to fade away but before he dissappears completely, he calls out so all can hear.

"I name you, Ninjai, murderer, coward, and thief!  You will find no peace so long as you stay in this town!"

Astrum then dissappears with a giggle, a puff of smoke where he previously was.

(dude, I am allready gone 0.o)

(I think what he was trying to say, evan, is that he was out side the whole time, therefore caught you walking out just before you disappeared, if you read his whole post. It's entirely plausible.)

(you're also lvl 2, and don't have acess to blend, vanish, or teleport, at best, you would have been able to run away, and someone could have seen you leaving the tavern.  You're not exactly an unknown face at the moment... and if you were, thats all the more reason for someone to chase down someone running from the tavern at this juncture in the story)
