I am EXTREMEMLY NEW need help/ advice

I JUST got into larping but have played Mmorpgs my whole life, and I'm looking for the real deal

I really just need advice, and a friend with a foot in the door to guide me on what steps and or preparations I need to take in order to get this going

And help would be greatly appreciated

Hey there and welcome! I would suggest reading up on the different races and classes and seeing what appeals to you.

Valcon, there is a IM system built into the website where you can ask your questions and receive quick responses.  I will try to keep myself logged in most of the day to answer questions you may have.

I had never done a LARP event before showing up at Orn. It was no trouble to pick up on what I needed to know. Along with your already gathered knowledge from playing mmo's and role playing games, I suggest hitting up chat here on home page Orn and ask direct questions as they come to you. Also remember this is not a full 'swing for the fence' contact sport. Some attacks do hit slightly hard but is more of a touch with your weapon and call your damage and type of damage. Doing den duty and/or extra den duty allows you to be in the action as a monster and will increase your knowledge of players, monsters and general game play very quickly.
