Information for Kristoff

Garen made his way toward the Crystal Fist camp wearing his new plate armor on his arms and shoulders, greatsword strapped to his back. He was looking for Kristoff, who he had not met personally but knew enough about by the talk of the rest of town. The uordeq had made the decision to impart some sensitive information to the paladin and was hoping that he had made the right decision to do so. Approaching the encampment, he stopped at the entrance and looked towards one of the Paladins and said, "I'm looking for Kristoff, I have some information I believe your order would be interested in"

Shrayvar stayed a little bit behind and to the left of Garen as they approuched the Paladins. His hands were causally set in his pockets, though inside each pocket he was tightly gripping a smoke bomb. Shrayvar reckoned that to some, such precautions might have been redundant, but personally he didn't want to risk being caught with a sole smoke bomb that turned out to be a dud. Then again, they could both turn out to be duds. Perhaps he should have brought a third one, or even a forth. Shrayvar mentally tried to determine how many smoke bombs he could carry without looking lumpy while doing his best to keep his expression vacant.

The Paladin that Garen spoke to nearly bumped into him as he was focused on some task at hand. He took a few steps back as if to take in the character of the Urodeq before him. He gave Garen a quizzical look before shrugging a shoulder and nodding simultaneously.
"If you'll follow me, I'll take you to him. Oh, you're friend can come along too if he'd like." He said simply, nodding to the figure of a Mau in the distance. The paladin turned around and headed towards a centralized tent, seemingly with the informed Urodeq and his companion behind him. He parted the front flaps, holding one side up and out of the way for the company to follow into the tent. "Oi, Kristoff, one/two of the Jastreyians stopped by to give us some information."
A man who was sternly studying the markings on a map, laid out across an impromptu wooden table, placed a finger on a particular spot he'd been eyeing before looking up to ackwoledge the camps guests. He smiled kindly, quickly marking the spot with a charcoal pencil before straightening himself and walking around the lengthy table, standing about three feet from Garen (and Shrayvar).
"A pleasure to meet you (both), I don't recall having met (either of) you yet." He paused a moment in thought before quickly continuing, "what brings you?"

Garen cleared his throught and inclined his head to Kristoff in greeting.  "Hello Kristoff, my name is Garen.  I have some information for you, if you'll hear it.  I have reason to believe a warlock of considerable power and influence may be making an appearence in Jastrey soon.  He is a duskling like myself and answers to Dreghor.  I know not what particular entity he has made a deal with for his powers, but I have fought him before and he took down my entire clan.  Were it not for Shrayvar here and his swift thinking", he gestures to the Mau, "We would have surely all been killed.  I reasoned that with all the other dark powers at work in these trying times, the Crystal Fists would want to be privy to any information available"

Shrayvar's neutral expression momentarily became a grin when Garen mentioned his contributions. "He's a real sneaky bastard," Shrayvar added, looking serious once more. "Totally attacked us without any warning at all. Last time, he had some shape-shifters or something impersonating people from our town and he even took hostages. Just a terrible person all around, really. He would deserve to die even he didn't have any dark powers." As he said this, Shrayvar pulled his hands out of his pockets and waggled his fingers to emphasize the dark powers.

Garen nodded in agreement. "I won't lie to you though, this matter is of a personal nature to me and mine. I'm in no way asking you to do my dirty work for me, I just wanted to make sure you knew of the possibility of him making an appearance in the very near future"
