Inner Dilemma

Altair sits at the bar of the tavern with a few empty pints in front of him. He looks distraught as if deep in thought. The bar maid tries to cheer him up, however he waves her off to leave him alone.

"Is being s sneaky bastard the right way to get revenge for my father? Should dirty blood be spilt with no heart to show your face? Or I should stand toe-to-toe with that monster in broad daylight.

"But I guess the real question is: Would my father like to make his revenge a silent one? ... Do I want it to be silent?"

Altair gets up and stumbles into an Angori who shoves him toward the door, but turns his back on him and wanders off into the darkness.

Rasiri moves out of the shadows behind Altair and wraps his arm around his shoulder, "Are you ok friend? You seem to be in a very bad way."

Altair removes Rasiri's arm from his shoulders. "Save your worry, friend. It is a fight I must battle on my own, one that I must fight for the death of my father ways heavy on me. If I seek his revenge, I must coax the killer out of his lair and let him know it is I who is about to end his life. It must be a loud kill, a bloody one, a brutal one.
"So, I will wander the forest and hone my skills. But don't worry, Rasiri, I will return soon."
Altair turns and heads for the deep and savage wilderness.

Rasiri sighs and looks down "It's a sad thing to see a ruined young one like that... he'll be back... and i will let him know that he doensn't have to be alone."  Ras turns around and heads back into the tavern just in time to hear Atasatch.
