It is time... for a rest.

After all the confusing and devastating events of the past few days, it feels great to finally have some peace and quite. Every minute being precious as it was, it is important to remember that these hours are ours, and we have to make them count.

Surviving the many wounds of battle, and having nearly lost everyone he knows forever to the unbalance of time, the agile angori, Desiderio, has chosen that right now the perfect time to relax was now. High atop the roof of the tavern, he lays at the edge in a manner of which to keep himself up as he lays down. His arm dangles down, as he rests his cheek upon his other arm. His legs crossed at the ankles while the knees have chosen their own respective slopes. Being at the crest of where the shingles come together, it seems like it would be a very uncomfortable position, but somehow he's made it his own as he watches town from above with a slight smile and one eye just barely open.

Nasher saunters up the road from his cabin carrying a very expired rabbit, content on the weekend he enjoyed indoors for once doing nothing but fiddling with gadgets and gizmos. And, for once, he escaped with only 4 of the contraptions expoding in his face and only one fire where Rasiri's bed once stood. He notices something from the corner of his eye dangling from the roof. Nasher, being his generous self in his current mood, decides to gift the hand with the gift of good food, letting the rotted and very smelly carcass dangle in the mysterious hand. "And they's say Nasher is a nussance. PSHAW!" the goblin proclaimed as he continued inside.

Desiderio takes the dead rabbit in his hand and just chuckles. "Glad to see you too, 'King'" Though said sarcastically, he actually is glad to see even him. But as for the rabbit, he doesn't want it to funk up the place so he waits till Nasher has left sight, then flings it into the woods. No use hurting anyone's feelings, right?

A small gnome walks up to the tavern in a version of Rasiri's Robe that is far too long for him, carrying no weapons. "Ey Desi! 'Ow you doin todey!" He looks around a bit. "The world looooks small from this point of view... how do they do this?"

Des looks down at the gnome through narrowed eyes, "Wait..."

Des uses his arms to prop himself upward, "Why do you keep turning into different things? Weren't you just a dwarf?"

Thimble was passing through when she spyed a Desi on the roof, a gnome that had a strange familiarity about him and a strong whiff of some decaying mass, though she didn't see any dead things. Regardless of the smell she decided she'd join Desi on the roof.

She grabbed on to the railing that went along the stairs, crouched down real low, and with a small grunt, launched herself up and landed on the roof with a clumsy thud, her footing a little off as she wobbled for a moment to get her balance.

Thimble then walked over on the roof to Desi and poked his forehead. "Hi Desi!" She smiled and giggled. She turned her attention to the gnome and waved. "Hello mister gnome! Who ar-..." She tilted her head to the side and squinted her eyes. Thimble's eyes then suddnely widened and she gasped. "Rasiri?!" She so loudly exclaimed which she then immediately burst out into laughter. "You're a gnome! Hehehe!"

Delvin emerged from the woods, no doubt after indulging in a long and much needed nap. A large yawn uttered forth from the boisterous little gnome as he rocked up onto his tippie toes in a full body stretch standing just infront of the Shady Corner. As he settled back down he glanced towards the new Gnome in town with a quirked brow. Taking note of the oversized and quite familiar clothing he offered a smirk, "The Faceless One still shining his favor on you, Rasiri?" Delvin offered a little laugh, "I too found the transition in height to be the biggest obstacle, so many shelves go unreached, but my various assortment of step stools are anything but neglected these days!"

As Desi spoke Delvin beamed up towards him, "Hello there, savior of time! Having fun pretending to be a weathervane?"

Rasiri sighs. "Let's just say to never mess with immortals..." Then he turns his eyes skyward to Desi. "I honestly don't mind being diffrent things, but i fear i will be far more by the time this goes away... if it ever does..." Rasiri smiles. "The worst part of this one is i don't know how to use a weapon..."

Nasher walks back out the door he entered, a large bottle of liquor in each hand. He steps out, and notices the hoarde of gnomes that has appeared. "Nasher doesn't have time for this," the goblin sighs as he turns around and heads right back into the building.

Des greets each fellow friend as they appear before him, and even offers some space on the roof for Thimble. "I don't quite feel much like a savior, honestly. I'm just glad things are back to normal... well... some things. I do kinda prefer the old Rasiri."

The Angori stretches and yawns as he sits up, then catches his balance to not fall over the edge. "I still wish I had that weapon, though. I feel incomplete once more."

"Then forge yourself." Akon's words issued forth from an unturned corner of the tavern. Staff in hand, and eyes hooded against the burning daystar's hurtful rays, she peered up at the two on the roof, the hints of a smile smirking across her lips and hugging to her hunched form.

Thimble looked down at Akon and waved. "Hi Akon!" She said with a smile, which soon faded into a thoughtful look over her face before turning back to Desi. "Could you forge that sword? It seemed awfully powerful..." She sat down a top the roof so there was little room for her to topple over the edge.

"Unlikely." Akon responded quietly, with her usual monotony. "It was a gift from an immortal for a specific purpose, forged by necessity, not personal desire."

"Well, I don't really know my personal desire... but I feel the need to have that power at my side again... somehow... I suppose 'time will tell' as the saying goes?" Des chuckles a bit to himself, a sound that is a bit unfamiliar from him.

FuChu made his way slowly to the tavern. Many thoughts had been plaguing him night after night. He looked up seeing his fellow comrades in arms. Fu bowed "Greetings friends." Fu called out as he walked up

Delvin rubbed at his eyes for a moment, still trying to wake. He watched as Thimble used her agility to navigate up onto the roof and issued a little scoff. Digits dipped into pockets to retrieve the stone figurine of a small squirrel. He closed his eyes and rubbed his thumb over the statuette. As he completed the little ritual he hovered awkwardly off the ground, seemingly by the seat of his pants. Up up up he went before he was floating beside desi, where with a great flump he landed on his rump.

"Hi!" he beamed.  He listened to Desi-D complain about feeling incomplete to which he simply couldn't keep quiet. "You're never complete, you're constantly changing, growing, and learning. Each day is a chance to expand on what you are, even with your last gasping breath there is change. Don't seek completion, seek understanding and contentment with your surroundings. Once you find that then you'll be set" He dropped the little stone figure back into his pocket and patted it as if to make sure it was still there. "though...." He cast a glance into his satchel wich radiated with the faint magical glow of mana as it was opened, "I could probably craft a close Facsimile of that weapon, a little Gnomish knowhow goes a long way"  he offered a nod.

As Fuchu strolled up Delvin shot him a smile, "Greetings most honorable FuChu, you seem troubled. Is there any aid I could offer?"

Thimble sat next to Desi-D, quietly listening to the small chatter around her, everyone still recuperating from the crazy time saving thing. As she sat, she thought about many things that had been presented to her and deicded, since she wasn't much In a socializing mood, to go on find a place to be by herself and relish in her thoughts. Now she just had to get down.

"Hmm..." She pondered over the thought for a moment, she knew that her new ability helped her climb things without a problem, or leap far distances, but she wasn't so sure about getting down. She carefully and slowly stood up and started cautiously walking around on the roof. Luckily, one of the large tavern doors were open. "I could drop down on to that and then the railing right next to it and then solid ground... Maybe."

Ever so slowly, she went to the very edge, and looked down. "Bolts this is high up..." She muttered. She crouched down low into a squat and grabbed on to the railing with both of her hands. She then began to turn herself around, her knuckles white from the grip she had on the railing, soon enough, one of her legs were off the roof, her torso pressed against the roof, as he legs flailed around looking for the door. Eventually, her feet found the door, the tricky part now was to transfer herself from safely dauntingly off the edge of the roof to a balancing act. Luckily the door was heavy and probably wouldn't move, she pushed off the roof with her chest and hands, feet planted against the narrow width of the door, slowly pushing herself up. While still holding on to the railing with one hand, she grabbed the door with her other, and then the other hand with it. Now firmly holding on to the door, she let both her feet slide off from the doors narrow width, which was a bad idea. Thimble lost her grip on the door fell down on her rear. "Ouchies..." Slowly she got up, rubbing her bum because well now it hurt and began to walk off.

Shadra walked out of the front entrance of the Jasterian Hospital of Istensia just across the path of the tavern.  Adjusting to the change in light, she shielded her eyes from the sun with her hand and spied the lot that was gathered just outside of the tavern.  "Hi there," she called. She took a few paces in the direction of the tavern and, having seen Thimble fall on her rump, added, "are you alright Thimble?"

Rasiri giggled quietly to himself a bit. "I have some things to arange, Just hollar out into the distance if i am needed, i always know if i am needed." Rasiri strikes a heroic pose and walks off into the distance.

"Oh I'll be alright." Thimble said with a wary smile. "I was actually thinking about going to see you. I think I might take up your offer." She said with another smile, a brighter one this time.

From inside the tavern, the sound of a goblin in an uproar of laughter could be heard. "Stupid Tomato face fell!" Nasher could be heard proclaiming from the bowells of the tavern, continuing his loud and slightly obnoxious laughter at the gnome.

"You know Thimble, you could have just asked for help?" Des looks towards Shadra as she approaches and offers as graceful a bow as one could while leaning on a roof.

Fu bowed to Delvin "Greetings Delvin san. My mind has been restless of late" Fu paused thinking somemore at this time Thimble fell, shaking Fu from his thoughts. A look of worry flashed over the dwarfs face but as Thimble got up and smiled the worry subsided. "I do not know if you can help me my Gnome friend. Of late, nothing has been making sense. I am happy we acheived victory but i am curious as to why I am still alive..." Fu paused then shrugged "Desi san has the right idea. Now is a time for rest and celebration i shall worry another day" Fu offered a head bow to Desi acknowledging him.

As Shadra jingled her way across the path toward the Shady Corner, she raised her voice in reply to Thimble, "Really?! That makes me very excited. We should most definitely chat more!" Upon hearing Nasher's ruckus, she added, "Ignore that silly goblin. He only acts that way to make himself feel better."

She got up on her tiptoes to peer at Desi on the roof. With a wave, she greeted everyone, "Hi up there Desiderio! Hi FuChu, Delvin. Akon." To the warlock she gave a slight nod. While she still felt a little wary and intimidated by her presence, working with Akon to save the town made her feel like they had some kind of mutual respect for each other.

The sound of the goblin's laughter could continue to be heard from the tavern, never faltering in it's volume.

Akon's red eyes shifted to Shadra as she made her greetings. At her words, Akon's stare fixed on the ixifar's eyes intently, as if reading every detail about her, then she dipped her head slowly, nodding gently in mutual respect, her fixed eyes seeming to communicate that she not only felt Shadra's intent, but shared it.
