Faint whistling can be heard as Pelle let's himself among the Library's long bookshelves. He begins walking down the aisles, tipping books down, one by one, as if looking for particular ones. "Ahh, here's a start," the Riven sighs as he pulls one off the shelf. In gold lettering, the name "Myrna" is very visible against the leather backing. "Now to find more of the like," the riven whispered softly to himself, a determined, yet devilsh, grin on his face.
The riven looked over with a wide grin on his face. "Ah, I was wondering when somebody would arrive. Here, carry this," he said as he plopped the book he forced the book he was holding into the Grarl's hand. "I also need every book pertaining to the Immortals. Specifically one's pertaining to Myrna, Thirsife, and any other deceased Immortal." Then, as if the Grarl wasn't even there, he continued to work his way down the shelf he was standing before, turning more books down onto there spine to mark where he's looked.
Weylyn took the book in surprise, his ears perking up at the unexpected motion. "Um... Alright, immortals." He said thinking for a bit before picking another pair of books off the shelves. "Most of the books on immortals are two aisles over. I'll find a place for you to read though them. It sounds like you might be here for a while." he commented before turning and starting to walk away from the riven with his tail trailing behind.
"Oh?" the riven said, halting his search at his current aisle. He began walking i the direction the Ulf had said the correct aisle was. "Oh, dont bother cleaning off a table for me. I prefer to bring them home with me. There are far too many notes to take and I'd rather continue my research in private." The riven begins looking down the suggested aisle. "Antasia, Antasia, Antasia, Arimir, Banekeril, Banekeril," the riven continued, quickly looking among the books to see if there is any he would find of use.
Weylyn put the books down on a table and clearing out a seat. "It's no bother." he said as he walked back to the opposite side of the the shelf the riven was perusing "Unfortunantly, you can't. The rule is all books must stay in the library. I can let the other docents know no to put the books back while you do your research so you may come and go as you please." He added as he took another armful of books back to the table.
The riven turned and gave the Ulf a stern look. "Well, thats just no good. How am I too concentrate on my important work if it is not in private? No, I think it will be just fine in my care. I'll even bring it back in the same condition when I am done." The grin returned to Pelle's face as he continued his search, pulling another fairly large book titled "The Lady of the Golden Hand" from the shelf.
He raised an eyebrow at the riven's look as his ears laid back "I'm sorry but that's not possible." Weylyn told him walking back down the aisle to the riven and picking up an armfull of books Pelle had already gone though. "We're not even allowed to remove the books from the tower." He pointed out.
The pressure of the room changes for a moment, and heavy footsteps being to approach the pair of adventurers. "What the fox says is true. If you wish to study in private, this one will provide you with a private room to study in." emits from the end of the isle. Walking towards the riven, Rune corrects the books the other simulacrum shifted as it approaches Pelle. "Please, adhere to these policies. This one has already lost many tomes due to poor handling of the texts."
The riven scoffs, as if he is being greatly inconvienced. "Fine. That will have to do then. Have the books taken to this private study, I shall be along soon once I have finished perusing materials." Pelle fingered over more of the spines, stopping to pull another rather old book down titled 'The Lord of Larceny.' "I shall be requiring the use of that room for a rather long period of time. There is much to be learned and shall require the upmost concentration. Please allow only Madam Spyder, Madam Poppy, Master Rastik, Master Treygard and myself access until further notice." He pulled a couple more assorted books from the racks and set the ones in his arms on the table with the others. The small pile had somewhere between 8 to 10 books at this point.
The construct nods and emits, "This one appreciates your co-operation. Weylen, Take Pelle to dungeon level. We will grant them full use of the entire floor, and respect thier wishes to be left to their devices. Also, this one would have words with Poppy, as it think she ate all of it's rabbits." Rune approaches the stack of books, -conjures- a pad of paper and quill, and jots down all the titles of the books Pelle took.
Rune begins to return to it's other docent duties, but pauses. "Pelle, this one wishes to issue you and your group a warning. The Mistress of the tower is prone to cookies and tea. Be Advised."
Weylyn inclined his head to the golem "It's no problem Rune-san." he said before hoisting a stack of books into the air. "Right this way, Pelle-san." He offered heading off deeper into the tower, his tail sticking out more parallel than usual as it helped balance the extra weight he was carrying. "I suppose, he has the right idea, not many people really go to the dungeon levels anyway. So even if someone were wandering around is unlikely you'll be bothered."
Weylyn led the Riven down a couple flights of stairs near the castle's foundation. His nose wrinkled up as walked to the floor and turned to a spare room. "Here we are. This is probably the best kept room here, was probably a guard room once." He said absentmindedly as he deposited the books on a table in the room.
He straightened up and glanced at the Riven "Once you're done, just put the books on a cart in the library and myself or one of the other Docents will put it back on the shelf. Will there be anything else?" he asked politely
Weylyn rounded a corner with a couple books under his arm and walked down a parallel row of shelves as he replaced one of them. He blinked in surprise as he regestered the Riven's presence, and after replacing the books he was carrying, made his way to intercept the Riven. "Ah, Pelle-san, correct?" he asked before noting the look on Pelle's face, which made his ears flatten themselves slightly "Can I offer you any assistance?" he continued in a neutral tone
