The Library Reopens

Adyslaine stands in the main room of the Healer's Den. Surrounding her are rows upon rows of books, now sorted alphabetically and divided into sections according to their respective magical disciplines.

A lone broom sweeps dust from a corner of the room and an old woolen stocking scrubs watermarks from one of the rickety tables. Since Adyslaine had received her summons from the Library in New Jastrey, Abigail and Jeb had been most helpful in helping her to get the libary ready to use. From supplying the old furniture, to getting curtains made and furniture upholstered, their assistance had been invaluable.

With a snap of her fingers, the broom halts its sweeping and gently lays itself upright in the corner, and the stocking ceases its scrubbing. With another snap a fire roars to life in the fireplace, lending a cozy warmth to the room.

With a heavy sigh that holds both satisfaction and sadness, Adyslaine grabs the heavy iron skeleton key that unlocks the door to the vault of knowledge contained within this very room. With her friend, Nevara's, absence and the realization that her students were now at the point where they no longer needed her as much, Adyslaine knew it was past time for her to be going. The summons from the Library was a blessing; another Shard needed her expertise and she knew there were further adventures to be had, but just like every other place she had visited before, there were always friends that she would miss.

Placing a knapsack on her back and glancing around the room one last time, Adyslaine opens the front door and walks out of the Libary. The door shuts softly and the only noise from inside is the crackling of the magical fire.
