Taklinn walks briskly down the street to the Healer's den. He stops outside the door and takes his pack off of his back. After a few minutes of looking in each direction, he opens the top flap and begins pulling dirty pouches out of the top and placing them on the ground carefully. With a look around to make sure nobody is spying, he then tears through the pack, discarding food, extra clothes and other various sundries in a hasty pile on the ground. He then reaches down carefully and pulls a wrapped object out of the pack and peels back a layer of cloth to ensure the package is undisturbed. With a sigh and a smile he places the package on the ground very carefully, and takes another look around. He then picks up the hastily made pile and begins stuffing each item back down in his pack, and afterwards picks up each pouch and places them on the top of the pack before closing it and putting it back on his back. He then picks up the package and steps into the the Healers den and asks anyone inside if they have seen Haven.
Taklinn walks over to the duo and shifts back and forth on his stubby legs, obviously uncomfortable. "I'm not one fer magic, but I'm also not one who doesn't appreciate a good deed when its done. Ye've saved me from dyin' quite a few times, and a dwarf ain't one to be indebted to anybody." He blushes as he looks down at his feet, obviously not at ease with the fact that he owes a debt to the healer. "So as payment for yer services, I figure ye can use a better weapon. He pulls a mace out of the wrapped up package, and looks it over one last time before saying "It ain't dwarf made or it would be better balanced, but it has a good weal about it and should be better suited fer you than me. I prefer me axe, and figure that if yer gonna be helping me, I should at least make sure you have a worthy weapon" He thrusts the mace out and places it in Haven's hands and bids her farewell. Taklinn turns around quickly and makes a hasty retreat out of the Healer's den, only stopping to pick up a stack of books the accidently knocks over in his haste.
Piles of books are packed into boxes and the healers den looks a bit disheveled. Taklinn hears speaking behind a large pile of boxes. Haven appears to be talking to Thalenir and explaining something to him with an emblem in her hand. Thalenir and Haven stop for a moment and wave Taklinn over. "Watch your step and sorry for the mess. I had planned on moving in to the mages tower.... but that didn't work out..." Haven says with a smirk. "Have you decided to train in the magic of the prime?!" A big smile spreads across her face.
