Glimmer enters back into the tavern in search of her newfound cousin. "She walks to the barkeep and orders a pot of tea and sits down, looking around the dark corners of the tavern for Ripper.
"Hello dear" Glimmer says as she approaches her cousin with a fresh pot of sugar and her own pot of tea. "Do pardon my forgetfulness of your now being Thorne and no longer Ripper. I've had much on my mind lately." Glimmer offers the fresh sugar to Thorne and continues. "It seems I may be needing you to accompany me into the forest at some point if a few details come together. I was just wondering if you'd let me know the next time you need to...errrm....hunt. I'd like to go with you in search of something." At that, Glimmer whispers something that can be heard by no one else.
Thorne rises from her bench (bed?) in the rear of the tavern. Rubbing behind her ears, she gives her long semi-tangled hair a quick shake and staggers over to the bar. She drags over a pot of tea and removes the lid, pouring a healthy dose of milk inside. She lifts the sugarbowl and stares as if she might be deducing how much might be within...then dumps the entire thing into the pot as well. A quick jostle to stir...and she sips directly from the top of the pot.
As if by magic her bleary expression clears and she turns to stare at Glimmer, then holds out her teapot as if offering a toast.
"Cousin."
