Large explosions and bangs can be heard coming from the Academy tower. Great flashes of light originating on the roof can be observed from all around town. Bolts of lightning leap around while blasts of blinding flames swirl about. Cracking snaps and wooshing sounds of deafening proportions echo across the landscape. Each time a particularly loud explosion is heard, a bit of glowing red material seems to form at the edge of the roof. As it cools it becomes a glossy transparent sheet.
Glimmer arrives in the tower looking quite disheveled and says "Wings of the FAE what are they up to now!" Glimmer runs up the stairs as quickly as she can and notices that Astrum and Garith can't be found anywhere. As if she has had a moment of reckoning, she seats herself and begins to sip some hot tea, still steaming as if the boys had left in a hurry.
