A winged form flies overhead and hovers over the forest to the east of town, its silver scales glimmer in the sunlight as it descends past the treetops. The silver dragon is hidden from view when it lands.
Gairth comes out of the tavern and stands beside Grall. "Good eye my friend." Stay here and warn those in the tavern and keep a watch on the wood for the dragons coming. I will go and gather those throughout the town." With that Garith hurries off to the Warriors Hall.
Drux come out of the healers den in a hurry. He looks to Garith with wonder in his eyes, "Did I see what I thought I saw was that a silver dragon that landed in those woods?" he says so fast that he slurs most of the words together. "We have to go investigate this at once and learn all we can this might be my only change to .....”, Drux says as he start in the direction the dragon landed.
Grall calls from behind one of the Tavern's windows, "Hang on, you damned fool! You don't go chalenging one of the Angori elders when your horns havn't even begun to sharpen yet. If you insist on studying the giant lizard, at least wait until we can get Ras or one of the other Rogues to go with you. They'll know how to avoid the Dragon's eyes and nose."
If there's anything we know about dragons they're mighty strong, but they also are treasure hoarders. We could be rich, Angori friend. Plus, we could bask in the glory and fame like the great heroes of old, like the tales I used to hear. This is our time.
This is surely something I will sharpen my sword for.
Dreygor enters the tavern fully armored with a new shield straped to his arm.
"That is right Drux we will not be trying to kill anything without knowing its intent first, however, a dragons intent is almost never benign. I would hope Corvax, Haven, Kevass, and Thalenir would meet here as well. I couldn't in good consience expect any of you to put yourselves in this kind of danger. For now please keep calm and stay together. We shall keep watch on the wood and hope for the best for now."
Dreygor's eyes scan about the room then out the window torwards the woods where it landed. "What in Lemesins name do you want Wyrm?"
Drux finally stands up and states, "I'm going to go see if I can see what this dragon is up to it might even be able to help us get rid of Scorch; from what I know of dragons they tend not to like each other. So, who will come with me this is strictly a reconnaissance mission?"
Having seen something out of the Tavern window, Grall abandons his drink to storm outside. "Angori may not be known for their excellent sight, but do my eyes decieve me or was that a dragon that just flew overhad?," he wonders to nobody in particular.
Grall turns, suddenly irritated that he was the only one to spot something, and roars into the Tavern, "Get our strongest fighters and our most powerful spell casters! We have a dragon problem, and I'm not about to die again because you lot won't watch my back!"
The Savage draws both swords and grits his teeth at the stretch of woods where the dragon's form dissapeared.
