Dogwood walks into the Shady Corner stopping in the center of the taverns room. He stares at the clock as it loudly makes TICK's and TOCK's. Twenty seconds till midnight Dogwood glows returning to his iron chest form the sound from the clock growing louder. One final TOCK signals midnight and silence falls over the tavern. Time seems to stop for a moment.
Then laugher creeps into the tavern from all directions as the chest lifts up into the air. The echoing laughs to loud to bear the chest spins violently. With a puff of smoke and a heart piercing scream the chest vanishes from sight. In its place a letter drifts down to the floor.
"You were warned, but now its too late. The time has past, the chest is gone, and now the ghosts are here to stay."
All I can say for this is - brilliant, Joseph. Absolu-freakin' brilliant. Be interesting to watch the mayhem - next season.
