Monastery, Revisited

Gaius can be seen heading out of town, walking calmly along the road.  He walks towards the monastery, hoping, finally, to be able to make some semblance of a home and training ground out of the remains.

Along the way, he ponders all the events that he has endured in his quest to clean out the monastery.  To think... he almost caused the destruction of the entire town. Such a foolish idea, to trust a stranger so openly, even if he did seem nice at the time. Gaius wouldn't make that same mistake again. Or would he? He wasn't sure.

Gaius looks up suddenly. He was there. He heads into the monastery's front gates, to see what can be done about all the mess.

Blisdon stumbles out from some nearby brush, his arms full with a satchel of various valuable herbs and mushrooms collected from the local foliage. He peers around for a second, eyeing gaius up and down before taking a long look at the monastery  as it stands in remarkable condition considering all that it has endured.

"Well 'ello there Gaius!" Blisdon says with a cheerful and eerily sober tone as he chews on several fresh looking leaves.  "So this is the place, eh? The last time I'd been here in the daylight, more undead were pourin' out than ya' could shake a gnome at."

"Hello again Blisdon. I'm kind of surprised to see you all the way out here."  Gaius pauses and takes another look around. "Yep, this is the place. It took us all quite a bit of effort to get that infestation out of here. I'm gonna see about shaping it back up into something a bit more hospitable and a lot less dead."

Gaius looks at the unusually normal Blisdon. "You're looking quite... normal today. What's the occasion?"

"Aye, I'm always around these woods in one place or another looking for the tools o' my trade that nature is kind enough to provide me." Blisdon said  as he took an experimental sniff of several leaves he had collected in his satchel before engulfing them in his mouth and chewing on them fiercely as he turned his attention towards taking a closer appraisal of the monasteries stonework.

"Hmm...I can't quite tell if it's dwarf-make or not, but it's close. I'm sure It'll make a fine place for you monkhood-types and near about anyone else looking for peace and quiet...assuming all the dead and dragonkin truly are cleared out of here."  The dwarf said with a hopeful tone as he idly kicked a rock along the path before turning his attention back to the monk.

"So what're your plans when you get this place up and running again?"

"Well, I was hoping that I could use this place as a shelter and training ground.  I figure this could make a nice place for the people of town to train and rest, if need be. I might have other plans for the future, but I'd just like to get it cleaned up for now. We could all use a quiet place to meditate and hone our abilities."

Gaius heads forward, further into the monastery, avoiding the checkered training ground as he begins to circle around the side. "It sure is a mess though."
