In Need of Healing.

A she-wolf dashes across the middle of town in the dead of night, in nothing but a silver streak carrying a stranger on her back that appears to be passed out. The she-wolf gently lays the passenger down in front of the healers den and sits and howls, just after the end of her howl, she dashes off back into the wilderness.

Rhadama spies the slight figure on the ground and rushes out.  She stoops down to lay a hand on it, "By the power of the Prime I heal you (Heal 5)."
Then she examines the stranger carefuly (Diagnosis) trying to determine the extent of her injuries.

Zanna flinches and moves lightly looking up at the figure examining her through slitted eyes. "Where am I?", she whispers tiredly.

Akon sweeps into the healers den like a rustle of the wind. She stops short as she sees Rhadama and starts rattling off quickly. "Miss Rhadama. I've a few questions for you."  She nods to Tregard. "Vhen the army took town, vas there a battle? If so, vhere did they put the soldier's bodies? If this sickness they are suffering from is indeed a plauge, I may be able to find something out about it from their remains. Also, I'm sure Tregard has filled you in on our little problem? But that is secondary to what we face now...lastly, are there any stores of water here in the den?" She finally then sees the girl Rhadama is bent over. "Who is that...?" Akon's eyes burn a slight red as she looks over the girl's form curriously.

Tregard brushes past the healer. " I need that wolf" He races after the figure calling out
The dogs are barking and the owls cry at loud,
Shadows are laughing and screaming in my ears.
I see the outline of the horned Man-in-Black.
He strech his hand to my left shoulder in fear.

"Don't hurt her. . ", Zanna chokes out quietly, "Leave the wolf alone".

Rhadama shakes her head, she's not used to being so popular.
"Well, Miss Fancy, as I recall, the bodies of the soldiers blew up and splattered nearby people with sick icky stuff.  There wasn't really anything left after that.  And I think there's a supply of water here.  Mistress Haven left us well supplied."
The Ixifar turns to the delirious girl on the bed.  "The wolf ran off, girl.  She's long gone.  And in my experience if an animal can run like that, she's usually not injured too badly.  But we can send a tracker after her if you're worried. Now sit up and have a drink."

Akon nods, still looking over the strange girl, studying her with her burning red eyes, but then quickly addresses Rhadama. "Aye, thank you then. For now, keep the fact that there are water stores here underwraps..we may be needing them soon." She bows low at the waist, folding one arm over her mid, before spinning in a twirl of black to head just as swiftly out the door.

Zanna sits up shakily from the bed and takes the water gratefully. "Thank you kindly Miss Rhadama, I do believe that is what I heard everyone call you. And about the wolf, she just came out of nowere and I guess she brought me here, I thought he was going to hurt her". Zanna sips the water carefully all the while staring the girl down that had just headed swiftly out the door. "If you don't mind my asking, who is she?"

The heavy thud of footsteps is heard from the deck of the den. The creaks open swiftly as Atasatch enters. "I heard commotion, whats wrong?" Atastach's eyes dart swiftly from on eperson to the next surveying his surroundings.

Zanna looks up just as the footsteps potrude into the den. She sees a druid clad in a black cloak and looks at him curiously. As he walk in she looks up to Rhadama and back to the boy, "Who are you?", she asks as she gets up weakly from the bed.

Rhadama acknowledges Atsach with a nod and a cautious smile as she helps the strange girl to rise.  "I am indeed Rhadama, the girl who just left is a friend of ours named Fancy."
She addresses the druid, "This young lady was brought here by a rather strange helper.  I'm hoping she can tell us more of what happened."

Zanna aknowledges Rhadama and thanks her with a courteous nod and looks to the druid. "It was a silver she wolf. She helped me. I fainted in the forest and she brought me here. . I was making up my makeshift cot up by the moutaintop and went to get some water. . the next thing I know I'm passing out at the she-wolfs feet and I wake up here." Zanna leans against the side of the bed and looks at Rhadama then the druid and reaches for her pendent at her neck to caress it, but it's gone. "Rhadama you didn't happen to see my pendent anywhere, was I wearing it when you found me?" Zanna askes in a panicked voice.

The Ixifar frowns,  "I'm sorry to say I haven't.  We can look outside, though, if you like."

Atasatch looks curiously at the mention of a silver she-wolf. He disregards it quickly and looks towards the Ixifar. "Is she in need of any healing? I may be able to help. Also I can help look for the pendant if you would like.?" Atasatch offers quietly. He turns back to see if he could catch of Akon. With no louck he turns his attention back to the wound girl.

Zanna looks to the druid man with much appreciation. "I would love it ever so much if you did. I don't know where it went, I'm sure it's somewere either outside the den or in the woods towards the river". Zanna looks down at her hands with a sadening expression and rubs her fingers around the rim of the goblet she was drinking from. "That pendant means a lot to me. . it was my fathers, and he's gone".

Rhadama says, "I'll look close to the Den here if you want to range farther afield.  You can stop back here later.  I'm sure you'll find it somewhere."

Atasatch nods to the two and turns quickly. He heads out the door his heavy footsteps fading slowly linto the darkness.

Zanna bows quickly to Rhadama and says, "Thank you for everything kind healer". With the last word she's running out the door to catch up to the druid.

Keeping outside of the Den, Akon calls out quietly, coughing slightly. She remains a good distance from the entrance. "Rhadama....Rhadama?"

She waits until the Ixifar appears and then, keeping her distance and her mouth covered she coughs a few times before asking. "If...the towns people contract this plague....can you cure it? Do you know how to cure something like this?" She looks with her eyes barely leaking her emotions. Usually the stout and steady Uordeq had her calm even kilter about her, but in this moment, a look of slight dismay and desperation flickered across her eyes.

Rhadama stops short at the sound of Fancy's hacking cough,  "Oh dear, Fancy!  What did you do to yourself?   No, I'm not powerful enough to cure the plague.  The dwarf shaman who was here last mestrum was able to do so, but he had to consult his elemental spirit first.  I don't know if he's in the area still, but I can check.  Probably the best thing for us to do is to quarrantine you here and treat the symptoms."
The healer shoves a bed into an isolated corner of the room and arranges some curtains around it for privacy.  "Now come over here and I'll get you some water and something for the cough."  She moves to help the ailing Urodek to the bed.

Akon puts up a hand palm first to halt the healer in her tracks, taking another step back and shaking her head, coughing a few more times into the crook of her arm. "No....Miss Rhadama...that vill only expose you, and any others that need healing. I can take care of myself, for as long as I stand..." Something about Akon's features breaks at that notion, but she quickly dashes it away. She checks that no unwanted ears are around. "Besides, I have work to do. I can at least use this to aid you, rather than be uselessly confined. If you could, check for the dwarf shaman...I'll keep myself to the woods. Call me by your name for me if you wish to find me, Fancy. Though my true name is Akon of Clan Nivarian. The dwarf won't heal me...." She pauses again, her brows furrowing, the sadness unable to be hidden from her usually strong gaze. "But...maybe he'll know how to aid others should they contract it. I don't even know if it is the plauge yet..." She coughs a few more times, huddling over and back peddling.

Rhadama calls after the fleeing figure,  "Fancy...Akon!  Be careful!  I'll look for the dwarf and be back as soon as I can."
She picks up her weapons and healer's kit and carefully latching the door of the Den behind her, sets out toward town.
