New in the Quarter

The spell had reached the end of it's duration, the elven features that peeked through auburn hair appeared to deliquesce away, replaced with a feature that contrasted the earlier sharpened ears of the figure. A hand nimbly reached up to unhook the mask that hid the face of this creature in hopes not to damage the well crafted leather creation due to the realization of what was happening. The navy blue tinge of the disguise formed into an animal-like shape of the head of a fox, it being the only thing that stood out from before the Seeming became undone. The figure appeared to array it's self in black leather that matched the skill set in which it had, having chosen the path of a rogue. A smirk quirked the lips of the character, now visible from losing the mask.
This being a female ''elf'', it seemed rather strange she had begun to move forward with stride towards what was known as the Crimson Quarter,  an Angori tribal ground. Everyone had known her as an elf by appearance and actions, yet the truth became revealed with each step the woman took, a haze forming above her ears. Pursing her lips, the woman grumbled over the fact they were finally showing themselves, murmuring curses at how insulting it was to not be able to show her true form before. What replaced the haze was a pair of pearl colored horns, spiraled and pulsing with blue runes. A foot in length, the horns added to the woman's odd height and intimidation, being nearly 5'10'' as an Angori female without her horns.
Eyes the shade of the darkest wood, gazed across the field in hopes to see someone and get the interactions over with as the new Angori female or as everyone knew her as, Nykyrian.

Desiderio was just returning to the Crimson Quarter from training to catch a feast when he sees a new angorian. A female, rare in Jastery. But the figure and frame was very familiar.
"Hey, are you lost around here? You seem new around h--"

Before he finishes his sentence, he is astonished to see her face and outfit share a close resemblance to the elven friend he recently became acquianted with, Nykyrian.

Eyes widened with concern and confusion, he asks, "Do... I know you? You look like someone I know..."

Her gaze fell upon the taller of the Angori's and her own friend, Desiderio. Registering the adorably shocked face as an obvious realization that she was indeed Angori, the girl decided to see if he remembered her. She raised her hand in greeting, calling out to him. "Howdy. What do you mean someone you knew?" A toothy grin spread across her face as she spoke.
The female waltzed towards him.

Des just watches as she approaches, keeping note of familiar body movements and posture, something he picked up as a lesson when he was being trained in shackles.

"Not knew, know..." With an eyebrow raised in curiosity, he begins to circle around her to make sure he isn't missing something. Nope, he is sure of it. "Is this some kind of disguise?" He starts to poke the horns. "It's a really good one, you even hid your pointy ears! And the horns feel real too..." He starts to pull on one of them.

The female watched him in return as he began to circle her, wondering when he would understand what had happened. A bubbly laugh escaped her as she prodded back as he poked. "No...it isn-" Her words were cut off as the Angori tugged on Nykyrian's horns, aggravation forming in the pit of the female's stomach. "Hey now."

"Wow, these are really on here good. Okay, take them off, I wanna see how you did it!" The tall angorian takes a step back and crosses his arms, confident he's gotten it all figured out. "I didn't think you were this experienced at disguises, even as an elf, Nyky!"

"They're real, you little Angori deer." The female kicked out at him to get him to realize what she was trying to say. Growling, she immediately pulled back before attempting to really hurt him.

Distracted, thinking it was the usual playful hitting as usual between he and his friend, Desiderio was in a fit of laughter. But then he heard through his own voice what she was saying, and paused for a moment to let it compute. His toothy smile slowly formed into a dumbfounded expression.

"Oh.... wait... what?!" He moves closer and places each hand on a shoulder and stares into her eyes. "Nykyrian?... who are you?"

"Who am I but a mere female Angori, little Bambi." She smiled before reaching up to pat the male on the shoulder, shaking her head in disbelief it took him that long to realize.
Arching a brow, she refused to really let him know the truth of what happened before.

He stands up and tries to process what happened, staring at his hands as if to imagine possible scenarios on his hands which serve as a screen.

"Wait, what?! No! Get back here! Why are you... how are y... no, why are you an..."

He calms down and lowers his voice and lowers his head. "Why are you an angori? This doesn't make sense!"
