Glimmer can be seen nailing a sign to the town post. Any who look upon it will see:
I am arranging a hunting party due to the recent theft of all my nuts. Anyone wishing to join me should be well prepared to take down all squirrels spotted.
Please sign below and meet me tomorrow morning outside the tavern.
GLIMMER <3
Glimmer speaks hurridly as she is frustrated. 'Actually it's not someone stealing them. It's all these other squirrels. Theya re stealling al my nuts and it has to stop. I need nuts too. Rediculous creatures, squirrels." Glimmer reaches into her pouch and eats a handful of crunchy nut cookies. "It's high time I go collect more and I figure why not ttake out the competition along the way. As for Ripper, I believe she's busy currently. Last I saw of Blondie, she was head to speak with Takie about gems."
Akon keeps her amused smirk. "Very well, I shall see you tomorrow to help deal with the culprits...as for Ripper, where might I find her? I don't mind waiting if she's busy, but do you know where I could wait for her? I've not seen her in sometime, and I'm growing a touch concerned..."
Almost as if summoned, the bat-winged fae plodded toward the tavern, hand half-shadowed by her hood as it covered a yawning mouth. As she got closer to the pair she plopped onto one of the seats by the firepit and fiddled forth a cigarette and a sparking tool. Lighting the former with the latter she leaned forward and shook her head vigorously.
"Damnable weather...this heat makes me want to bury myself."
Nakigahara overheard the conversation between the Uordeq and the Fairy from his crouched position beneath a bench not ten feet from where they are standing. The bench seemed to float off of the ground as it sat across the giant’s back as he appeared to be rocking back and forth, murmuring something to himself. Upon overhearing talk about stolen goods, his ears perked up, quickly standing up and flinging the bench behind him.
“Squirrels you say? Iniquitous devils the lot of them. Nakigahara tolerates a lot of things on this revolting plane, but thieving rodents are definitely something in need of a good vanquishing!” Naki drew his massive blade and pointed it upwards to the sky. “Point me into their direction... uh... err... Glitter?”
Glimmer giggles giddily at Nakigahara's attempt at her name. "Well it's GliMMer, but you can call me Glitter if you'd like. And not all squirrels are bad. Only the one's that aren't me you see." Glimmer shakes her head in the yes position, assuming that all agree with her. "We shall leave at dawn. I need to practice up on my archery as it is, so why not go after the thievies while we're at it then! I do appreciate you each and all." Glimmer looks to Ripper and says "I trust all is well with you cousin, beyond this damnable heat. I do believe even my wings are sweating. Tell me, is my sweat as glittery and glamerous as I hope?" Glimmer plops down beside her cousin in a fit of giggles as she pulls out another handful of nut cookies. After pushing 4 cookies into her mouth at once, she eyes the rest and says "OOOOMF...want some coookie?"
Atasatch walks toward the group and approaches Glimmer. "If you need help hunting squirrels I would be glad to aid you." Atasatch bows his head to his fairy friend. "Also I would love to have a cookie I am absolutly famished." Atasatch chuckels slightly and stands up straight nodding to Nakigahara.
Ripper pressed her lips close together, but finally bubbled forth a lighthearted giggle at the bunch.
"Well....this does look like a handy little hunting party, I daresay the squirrels may be extinct after this. Ahh...if only my shadow walking was perfected, I could give them heart attacks."
Her eyes traveled to the cookies, and the black seemed to recede slightly, drawing inward to leave her eyes large and dark but not quite so souless as they had been. She reached toward the treats, but then paused to think better and went back to finishing her cigarette.
"I muchly appreciate the offer cousin dear. But I may hold off. My stomach has been very...finicky lately."
Akon reaches out and gently takes said cookie in hand. She turns it over one way, then the other, then sniffs it. "These are cookies, you say?" She sniffs it again, looking about at the others munching, and quickly remembering the last time she played part in fairy games....but at long last she slides it delicately between her tongue and teeth, wrapping her lips around it and chews. Then a look of suprise comes across her face, blinking a few times, and muffled through the crumbs she replies. "Theese...are actually quite goodm. Hmm..."
"Wow, what an large and well-armed party to hunt squirrels"," comments a smiling Tregard; as he approaches the hunters. "I was wondering if I can get the same turnout to discuss our more fanatical rodent problem." He stops at the group and says " Let's say tonight at the witches' hour in the Warrior's Hall. Great! Hope to see you there. Glimmer, Akon you may want to lose your red and white chaperones beforehand" He points to Ressik soldiers sulking in the immediate vicinity. " Though I think a shapeshifter and a warlock can manage." He waves at the group and continues down the road.
Akon walks up to Glimmer as she is posting the sign, and smirks, reading it over. "Someone has gone and stollen all your nuts, eh? How entirely improper of them..." She smirks, chuckling lightly. "I'll help." She says, reaching up to sign the parchment. "Aren't your other cousins going to help as well? Blondie? or Ripper? Seems like something they would be interested in...where are they anyway? I've not seen either of them around."
