Hey all my fellow Ornies! Melissa (Lia) here to let you know that I'm going to be opening up 'shop'. I'm going to be transitioning jobs soon, and with it being tax season funds a little tight. So to help generate some pocket change (so I can do that funny thing call eat, lol) for myself and keep some of the strain off my household, I'm going to take some art and hat commissions! 
 
For my art commissions, I'll be doing some simple sketches for $3.50 each. I can do them either digitally or traditionally, but they will all be sent to you either via pm or email. [Click Here] for all the rules. I will get these done more quickly now. Thouh, my drawing motivation seems to come in spurts. (lol, sorry) The average amount of time is 1-3 hours. Examples: 

 
For my [Hat Commissions] ($15 for one, 2 for $26) I can make just about whatever character you want. I'd also be happy to tailor it to fit your head size if you'd like. Other wise my average size is 24in. For these, they will usually take me about a week to two weeks to complete, and if you'd like I'd be happy to ship it to you; however for that I'd have to charge $5 additional for shipping. Or I'd be happy to give it to you at the next event. 
 
I will send you an invoice via paypal to your email address upon completion of your order, and I'll send your art and/or hat upon receipt of payment. If you have any questions, feel free to comment here or pm me.

lol, sounds good. What would your hat to be of? I can do just about any character (so long as I have reference), even your OC; or just a random animal, or color combo. Just let me know!

@Chris: Sure thing ;) I'll make it a little different as to not infringe on that artist's design, but i'll be similar! 
@Cody: Just a sketch of Leo? And what would you like your hat of?

Make it as different as you want. I mainly just like the concept of it. I just didnt want something like this or this. I would like it to include the head, wings and tail. Have fun after that.

Oh pfffft...wow; didn't know you were all the way out there. I'll spare us both the ridiculous shipping fee on that. (I know mailing a letter UPS to England is like $150...so yeah).

Might not be that bad. Shipping to APO addresses eliminate international fees. Depends on how small of a flat rate box you can fit it in, I think. :P

When shipping to an APO Address, it does eliminate all fees but from I had to deal with mostly whats in the box and how much it weighs, since mine was food i was charged, but for a hat, it shouldnt charge you little to nothing.

Mel, you can ship it to him in a Flat rate box, and you can normally order a free pack of boxes online.  I never paid more than $10.00 for what I sent to Mark.

Now my fiancee wants one too, so could you add her as well? She would like a sugar glider hat. Here are some pics of them. She wants one of a classic grey.
Hold on to mine until her's is done too, then I would like them shipped to her. That way my hat could be included in a care package sent to me and that will save money.

It's gotta be the giants... the ones that killed people by hitting their ankles with large 2h clubs and then used repel tavern on the fairies.  I think that would be the nastiest thing that the two of us have faced together.  That, or a dragotaur!

If you guys didnt see the Magikarp hat she made, it was pretty fracking sweet. Not only did it look awesome and fit great, but it make the perfect winter time hat for when it gets colder again. Its worth well more than the price being asked. =D
